Awesome car camping!
Had absolutely everything we needed for our car camping experience! Really large flat camping area with fire pit, water and electricity. Communication was so great. Had a little trouble finding the place but he talk to me right through it. There is so much to see and do in this area from wineries to great hiking and waterfalls!
Nice place and great host
Beautiful property. Two ponds were a short walk away from the site we stayed at. A small boat was available and my kids loved it. There are a total of 3 spots but they were separated enough for privacy. Hosts house was close to our site but he was respectful of our spot. There was an an extension cord for electricity, so if you are expecting 30 or 50amp that isn't available. Was a tight squeeze to get my 18ft camper backed in but if you are an experience "backer inner" you could probably get a bigger rig in the spot. Overall it was a very relaxing trip and would definitely go back!
Great spot. Frog was super friendly and the place was just the right amount of secluded. My friend and I were able to fit my 21ft Winnebago Micro Minnie in with no problem. Sites are a short walk down to the little lake where we were able to fish and relax. We also found some awesome off-road trails from Corbin Creek Rd to Tray Mountain Rd. It was a great couple days of rest mixed with adventure.
We had a great time camping here! Frog was excellent at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed. We were close to hiking, wineries, and a brewery at Yonah Mountain, the Georgia Traverse for off-roading and the town of Helen. The other campsites were a reasonable distance away and the campers were respectful during the night.
Very quiet and private campsite
Very private and away from it all with access to a small pond for fishing and boating. Everything was as advertised or better. Frog was very flexible about changes to our arrival schedule and also kept us informed of important weather alerts throughout the weekend as we ended up camping through a tropical storm. Would definitely return!
