I would recommend this campsite for its absolute beauty. There is a lovely creek running through the whole length of it. The waterfall is just charming and made me want to jump in. The fire pit is a very nice iron ring with a cut out pattern. There are party lights a smoker a picnic table and an outhouse.
I would say that we were a bit concerned about the entrance being downhill to a site we couldn’t really see because of the trees. Once we got down there it was as stated above. We did manage to get our 25 foot trailer down and turned around. Seemed tight although in the pictures someone else clearly was a Superman driver and got a much larger trailer turned around there. We. Didn’t get to stay as long as we wanted to. It has a lot to recommend it.
Will go back when we get a chance.
The few days we had to get away rained, everyday. That was ok with me, we can always use the rain. We could not have picked a better place to be. Mr. Ken has what it takes to relax and enjoy the running water a few steps away from the front door of our camper. We carried 100+ gallons of water, gen. and plenty of food and stayed lost for a few days. Thanks Mr. Ken
Great lil hideaway!
First time hipcampers! Ken is an awesome host. Stays in touch along the way, making sure you find it with no trouble. Necessities are way more than we are used to without glamping. :) Outhouse, firepit, grill, and smoker available upon request. A lil hwy noise so tents get close to the creek to void it. Our dogs loved the creek. Our stay was great! We will definitely be back!
