Booger Hollow Camp
Good enough but could be great with
Liked it but has a few drawbacks.
Good level site #1 with several spots for tents or CamperVans. Great to have area nearby with roof over table and large grill/cooking pit. Site #2 is not as good but has several tent sites. #2 fire pit is smaller.
Both are near Lake Creek which is a very nice setting.
Drawbacks - Porta Potty is horrible. Needs to be upgraded, or demolished and rebuilt. Short distance through field could be rutted and muddy if recent rains. It was fine for us. See photo. Also no prepared firewood but lots of downed and dead wood in area. Bring a saw. Large debris pile next to site #2 should be removed or burned. A little tricky to find after dark. Poor cell coverage as advertised. Could hear cars traveling down nearby paved road but not obnoxious.
We would go back and bring our own portable toilet. Host was enjoyable and lives near by but not invasively.

Amazing spot
This camping spot is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING perfect secluded little spot to get away from the rush of day to day life and just be free to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The farm guard dog was super friendly. I highly recommend this camping site we will definitely be repeat customers

Pretty views, big site, good times!
Unfortunately, Michael was under the weather so we didn't have a chance to meet in person. We did meet the local 4 legged local patrol pup (I believe his name is Gus), he is a real sweet boy and very tolerant of our 3 dogs!
The site was large, flat, clean, and easy to move around to find your perfect spot. It'd be a good site for kids, lots of room for games and play. There was plenty of firewood strewn about.
The land is near a road (you can hear the occasional passing car) but it's very private, you don't feel like your 15 min away from a Walmart. There is a primitive "cowboy camp" shelter with a table and grilling area. The creek is very pretty, but a bit cumbersome to get in and out of (it's lined in slick sticky mud). The dogs didn't mind one bit, and that's all we cared about.
There was plenty of nightlife to hear after the sun went down, and fortunately not many bugs or poison oak!
We brought our own water supply so I can't comment on the water situation, the outhouse was "primitive" but we were happy to not have to dig a hole, haha. We were happy to have the shelter.
All in all, we had a great time! I'd go back for another 2 days anytime. The site was spacious, private, and just what we were looking for. It's close to civilization if you forget something, but just outside cell coverage so make sure you download your Spotify songs ahead of time!
Thanks for having us Michael! We really enjoyed our time at your site.

Great stay
Michael’s campsites were perfect. It was a lot more secluded than I thought it would be. The creek was deep and refreshing. Daughter and I jumped in for awhile. The dog mentioned in comments before to come by a few times. My daughter absolutely loved him. Very sweet dog. My only things I would recommend is bring a rope or something to get out of the creek as there isn’t a good spot to get back up. Also bring ear plugs. The cows in the farm nearby didn’t just moo they absolutely bellowed all night long.

Exceptional spot!!
This was an absolutely STUNNING location, a secret grotto not too far off the beaten path.
The directions were easy to follow, and we had no problem finding the site. Michael was communicative, and very accommodating.
Once arriving, there is a huge amount of space to set up in right next to the river. Lots of trees and shade, an easy spot for a hammock, a large firepit, and a large shelter with a table and large built cooking pit.
You can hear cows lowing nearby, protected by a large and incredibly friendly dog named Gus. We caught several fish right off the bank at the site, and found a delightful sandy-bottomed and waist high area to swim a very short walk down the path along the river.
It was clean, quiet, a ton of fun to explore, and very much a fantastic break from the rest of the world. We will absolutely be returning whenever we can.
