PIECE OF HEAVEN!

We enjoyed our stay there, once we found it! The church mentioned in the directions is a very small white building, no steeple, tucked into the trees on the right side of the road if you’re coming in from the east (i.e., westbound). Use “Spring Hill Church” as your GPS destination and look carefully for the small road entrance directly across the road from that. If you hit Tillman Carter Rd going west on Argyle, you’ve gone too far. Once we got to the correct road (white packed sand and gravel) we had no trouble getting our nearly 40’ 5th wheel down it. The first area you’ll come to is a white house situated in a large clearing. There’s also a much smaller clearing just a little further down, with a round metal table and small grill, directly across from a large utility pole with a streetlight mounted on it. We parked there. It was quite private and quiet at night. If you’re using a tent and camp there, be warned, the streetlight is *extremely* bright and powerful. If you’re in a van or RV it probably won’t be a bother, but a tent won’t be any protection from it, so you might want to pitch your tent in the field around the white house. Annette was super patient with our questions and directions, and came by to check on us once we’d parked. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.

Annette was great! 50/30 amp and water hookup! Perfect spot to explore Savannah from! Can’t wait to return!

Nice, well maintained property away from the highway and very quiet. Convenient to Savannah. Best if you don’t mind dry camping. Power, water, and a shower is available right by the owners house. Driveway is a bit overgrown so tall RV’s are going to be brushing up against overhanging small branches. Arrived late and left early so did not get to meet property owner. Will stay tgere again next time in Savannah.

Very clean place, it’s off the road and felt private & safe.

Annette was a great host. Her ad said electric was available, which it was. But, we had to park right in front of the house and get the electric from a 110 outlet on the porch. Make sure you have an adapter from 30 amp to a 110 plug. A long cord would be advantageous. She rents rooms out in the house and one of the tenants expressed discomfort with us parking in front of the house. Annette came by and smoothed everything over. Piece of Heaven was a beautiful place. Off the main road and quiet. If you are dry camping, there are a number of nice places to park or set up a tent. Turn right at the church. The drive is right next to the church building.

It was very easy to locate. Pretty place close to the city!

Lovely property close to Savanna . Property offers a number of beautiful places to set up camp. Our host Annette was delightful!

I never meet the host in person but the place was great. Electric is not readily available but rural camp spot was great and we were able to use generator. Will stay again!
