Lovely tiny cabin
Staying at the cabin was wonderful! Super clean and cozy. Andy was very friendly, helpful, and kind. Gave excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. Would definitely come back again.
The rustic tiny house on organic farm was just the weekend getaway we needed and the owners Andy & Ana were so welcoming - from providing a tour of the farm and cornfield, to harvesting black walnuts from the tree in the yard and observing Milky Way in the night sky and just being with nature. Wish we lived closer to spend more time on their property. Will definitely return!
Go! Don't hesitate, book a stay at Andy and Ana’s farm. Every expectation we had was surpassed. We brought our teardrop camper and our close friends stayed in the cabin. We had the most lovely experience. Andy and Ana are incredible people who welcomed us into their world as if we're were extended family. They truly care not only about thier property but also the experience of their guests. Our 4 year old son has so much fun helping Andy care for the chickens and learn about the honey bees. There is so many great activities around the area that would be fun for any age or interest. The cabin Is just as it is in the picture, beautiful and well built. I could not recommend this location enough, you will not regret planning a visit here. We made great memories and new friends.
Wow! What an awesome, peaceful get away. The "cabin" was perfect. Clean, comfortable, fabulous view of the surrounding farm area thanks to all the windows and the front porch. Sooo relaxing. Wonderful roaring fire both nights with the hosts who were available but not intrusive. Fantastic star watching!
I was grateful for no wifi - gave me permission to not open my laptop. 1-2 bars on my AT&T cell connection - more than enough for emergencies / google directions.
A modest kitchen, but all the necessary conveniences including the grill and a green egg. Our dogs were welcome to roam the property (if only we could trust them to come back), and very much at home in our cabin.
Very clever use of space - 2 murphy beds - fold up kitchen table. All the basics you need!
Wonderful hosts! Thanks Andy & Ana! We'll be back.
My wife and I came for a weekend getaway to unplug and spend some time outdoors with our dog. We had an amazing time sitting outside and grilling most of our meals. Their cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we are very grateful for them hosting us. I think we'll be back! Highly recommend.
We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Andy & Ana's cute little farm. Thank you so much for being such great hosts and opening up your peaceful and beautiful place for others to enjoy! We will definitely visit again!
I loved staying here. The house is amazing with lots of large windows and beautiful wood. It feels very spacious yet cozy. Andy was very gracious and shared fresh eggs from the farm. It was very rainy the day I was there so I couldn’t explore, but It was the perfect place to curl up with a book and watch the rain.
Yes, it is as awesome as it looks!
Andy and Ana have created the perfect space for respite — and just an hour and twenty from Atlanta, the answer is YES. If you’re digging into the internet for a place to get away and unplug, YES — this is it, your search is over and you don’t even have to thank me.
The tiny house is on their property and you can see their cabin from the rental (as depicted in their pictures) but it feels equal parts separate and safe. They are gracious about giving their guests privacy and also instantaneously helpful if you need anything!
They are perfect hosts — who appreciate the nuances of pandemic living, that everyone has their own comfort level — and they’re 100% respectful.
The architecture of the tiny house is represented accurately online, i.e. - it’s stunning. It feels like you’re in the woods but it also feels like a modern daydream.
Their land is sprawling and perfect for an afternoon walkabout. Cleared paths lead you through corn fields and farm land to the river’s edge — totally perfect for us when we wanted to be outside but not around a tourist attraction or public hike.
The tiny house has electricity but no digital media. If you need it, bring a computer or iPad but plan to use a hot spot. If you’re wondering how your kids will survive without them for a weekend — I can assure you they’ll spend hours playing marbles or putting together a puzzle (bring one!) just like ours did — even though we wondered the same thing. The unplugging was so welcomed — and necessary for us and our kids.
There are two awesome beds in the open concept space. Our family of four was perfectly comfortable. We cooked on the grill and we also brought our camping stove but could have done without it. Plan on an amazing fire outside if you’re into that. We brought firewood but were grateful for the pile of recently cleared brush and Andy with his surprise, fire-starting entertainment to get us going.
We were greeted with hospitality, respect and appreciation over and over again - and I can’t wait to go back. If it’s available, just book it. You won’t regret it.
Also, if you’re into antiquing or otherwise awesome road-side shopping, the drive home to Atlanta through Jasper is perfect for that. We didn’t stop, but I cried a little every time we didn’t.
A perfect retreat for productivity!
I was here with my family a month ago and knew then this is where I’d come back to finish a writing project in the new year.
I just spent four nights here in total bliss, away from the city and normal obligations. The quiet💓. The land🌲. The space Ana and Andy have curated — it’s all so conducive to focus and creation. I found so much magic in the seclusion.
Grateful to have this space to retreat to when I need to be heads down and work.
Reminder there is no WiFi and next time I’d bring an external hotspot for my AT&T service for work that requires more connectivity. It was a fun game to work online when the cellular network wanted to play nice and to have to step away and do other things to keep my creativity flowing when it didn’t. 😁 That kind of diversifying our work is critical anyway. 🙌🏽
This is a must-stay location - promise!
