Make yourselves comfortable on this conveniently located large, flat, level, grassy area and use it as your base camp for day trips to several local recreational spot.

It is not a far drive to area attractions, lakes, fishing etc.

This 5 acre property is fenced in and can host van life gatherings to just a primitive quiet family camping. The site is located at the rear of the property far enough to give privacy from the neighbors and the main house, far enough off the main road away from noise.

This listing is a tent or 'dry dock' site, and as such does not automatically come with water and/or electricity hookup. Our homestead is located in Marion County, FL. 

We are 15 minutes to Carney Island Recreation & Conservation Area

We are within minutes of The Villages where you can find all sorts of shopping and nightly live entertainment at one of the town squares of Spanish Springs, Sumter Landing, or Brownwood.  

Within half hour to Lake Weir for boating, skiing and check out Eaton's Beach where you can rent jet skis etc, as well as an excellent choice for restaurant on the lake dining. Or Gator Joes as well for a casual dining, sit back enjoy a few drinks while watching the sunset.

Silver Springs home of the Famous Glass Bottom Boats is less then a 30 minute drive, also you can experience seeing the monkeys, manatees, for kayaking , the famous glass bottom boats rides and scenic trails, and so much.

Ocala National Forest where you will find more opportunities, horseback riding, mountain biking and off roading as well as excellent hiking.

35 min drive to the World Equestrian Center where you’ll find special events planned throughout the year.

There is a wealth of springs within a very short drive. Anywherefrom 30 min - an hour to Rainbow Springs, Juniper Springs, Alexander Springsor Wekiwa Springs, and so many more.

11 miles to Santos Trailhead well known for its mountain biking,hiking, and horse back riding

Don Garlits Museum of Drag racing is right off I-75 withinminutes of Summerfield, Fl. 

World famous Daytona Beach - 1.5 hr

Disney World and your Orlando attractions - 1 hour

Crystal River - 45 mile (The manatee capital of the world )

St. Petersburg, Tampa and are within 100 miles

Marion County has so much to offer, the Ocklawaha river runs thru Marion County where you can find fishing, kayaking, boat launches and so much more.  

This site is just 15 minutes from I-75 and just minutes from 441 .

Nice open field off a quiet rural road. I picked a spot where I get dawn to dusk solar, but there's plenty of shade if that's your preference. It's quiet except for the large variety of birds that come in to wander about in the grass.
