Campsites are on a small horse farm located just 4 miles from downtown St Augustine and 5 miles from Vilano Beach. Many hiking and water activities within 30 minutes. You select the space you where you wish to set up camp. The entrance off the dirt road is tricky for large rigs or trailers more than 35' may not have easy access. Our sites offer potable water, a shower, picnic tables, a toilet, wifi, trash disposal, space for campfires, and we are pet friendly! We can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. Our guests love staying here: "Camping at Gayle’s property was an amazing experience. We shared the field with 3 other campers but there was still plenty of room between sites. Land is flat and has fire pit spaces and BBQ grills. Outdoor shower was appreciated even though we didn’t use it & it was great to have the port-o-potty on site. Wooded areas in a horse pasture
Nice place close to St. Augustine. Only 1 mile from Fort Mose, home to a community of free African Americans in the 18th century, when Florida was the only Southern refuge. We loved the horses, dog, cat and chickens. Wonderful to have the hot outdoor shower. As expected, use of porta potty. Camping spot was shaded and pretty private with room for 4 other camps. We’d return.

Lovely open pasture with shade on the outskirts. Quiet and peaceful. Loved that our dog could run off leash.

Camping at Gayle's was perfect. There was more than enough room for a very large canvas tent, even with 3 other guests in rv's. It was very peaceful, and the pasture is beautiful.

Heaven Hipcamp
We loved this Hipcamp! Perfect for people with small RVs who don’t want an Astrodome-style RV park. Rural, forested, private, peaceful. Close to St. Augustine. A good “working shower” and good enough toilet. Five-star rating from us!
