A beautiful serene field with wild flowers all around. Close to town and tourist attractions in st. Augustine. The hosts were helpful and respectful. It was too short of a trip but we really enjoyed our stay.
Gayle’s horse pasture was the perfect spot for my family of 4 to spend the night. The kids loved seeing all of the animals (horses, chickens, cats, dogs). The trampoline was fun for them as well. The campsites were spaced out well and plenty of firewood. The porta-potty was easy to get to from the campsites.
It was exactly what I needed. 8 minutes from a Publix and I think 12 to St Augustine historic district. But the actual location felt remote and relaxing, not like you're in the city. Would book again if I'm in the area.
The location was relatively remote which was nice, with a security fence and gate. The shower and bathroom were a bonus. Easy to arrive, setup camp, and break down in the morning. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our site next to the fence with nesting boxes. We spent lots of time relaxing and watching the bluebirds flit in and out. The pasture was quiet with lots of room between visitors.
This idyllic space is just minutes from downtown. My husband and I stayed one night. Gayle was very communicable, quick to respond to our questions. There were 3 other camp spaces in the same field as we were, but far away so we felt we had true privacy. Very quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees. We were able to have our own little campfire too. We did uber into town for dinner, a short and cheap ride (we paid about $12 at the time we went, and the ride was max 18 minutes). Great location yet feels quiet and secluded.
