Enjoy the beautiful Florida landscape on privately owned land adjacent to the Withlacoochee State Forest. This spot has it all- open pasture, low lying wetlands, and pine hammock. Enjoy camping beneath the majestic oak trees. Conveniently located right next to the camping area is a built-in fire pit with front porch style swings. Sit by the fire and enjoy time with loved ones (or solitude!) while you watch deer, turkey, and maybe even a gopher tortoise in it's native habitat. As a wetland recharge area, the land is an integral part of the local ecosystem. This land is old Florida at it's best.

      A nice, peaceful place with great access to the Van Fleet Trail, which I highly recommend. I would stay here again.

      The Land
      “The Land” at Withlacoochee Woods as they’ve so affectionately named it really provides the quant old Florida charm that is hard to find anywhere else! Only note is to be wary of ticks and aware that there is some traffic noise from the main road still. Will definitely be coming back!

      Perfect stop for Florida C2C Trail!
      We are so appreciative of Erin for the amazing camp spot! Very private with great amenities! Fire ring, swings, and potable water! Really appreciated the composting toilet as well! This location is perfect for bike packers along the Florida Coast to Coast Trail and Green Swamp enthusiasts! Our hosts were so lovely and we can't say Thanj you enough! I highly recommend staying here and I can't wait to come back!
