About the property
Our property is close to Vero Beach to the south and Melbourne to the north. We are not far outside of the town of Fellsmere where you can find some restaurants and services if needed.
Our property is great for hiking, biking, local fishing, or hanging out with our farm animals. There are trails to be found less than a mile from our property but you can also head to Sebastian Preserve for hiking or over to Stick Marsh for fishing.
Your hosts are onsite and we like to meet campers and just get to know them a little. Then we leave the campers alone unless they need something :)

Please keep in mind that if you are brining a van or truck camper the maximum length we can accommodate is 20 ft. Nice sized quiet campsites. Steve was very accommodating. Be prepared to be awaken by rooster crowing🙂
We will return!
Very nice place
Very nice host n hostess
We tried using a Tent in ground
We soon realized that’s not good in rainy season
We have purchased a Truck bed tent from wise moose. We will provide an update on how that goes. The site was clean and the fire pit was equipped and beautiful.
A grill was there with oak wood
I created a excellent fire by simply using match light kings ford charcoal no fluid!
Had a blaze in minutes.
Cute chickens walking around our four year old enjoyed this experience.
Don’t plan on camping on ground!
Florida is a marsh after all.
Had a lovely time at the property. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They allowed us to check in early so we could set up before it began raining and even had set up a canopy for us to shelter the picnic table. The goats and chickens were fun to visit. Great location near many hiking trails. The Marsh Landing Restaurant is right down the road and was a wonderful place to grab a bite. Would definitely camp here again.
Steve's land is so receptive and welcoming. I was able to spend a night solo in the more private camping area and found such respite with the trees, and birds, and goats, and chickens. Steve was helpful and understood the need for solitude that one seeks on a solo. As a solo female I felt safe and found the space to be wonderful. I can't wait to go back.
Steve’s property was very private and in a great location. It’s very close to many lakes for kayaking and fishing. The beach is also within 20-40 minutes depending on what beach you decide on. Steve was a great host providing information on the area and providing firewood.
Steve and his wife are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful property. Secluded, yet close to everything. Steve let our grandson, feed the goats and the chickens. Awesome photo opportunity. Really a great spot to relax and chill.
Enjoyed my stay! Pretty secluded and there were little to none mosquitos. Tree surrounding the campsite help protect from the winds. More then enough fire wood!

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at Sunnyside Farm. Steve met us on arrival and gave the lay of the land and had even kindly provided us with firewood.
We drove right up to our spot, which made things easy. There is a pump for well water to wash hands/dishes, but we brought all the water we needed.
The morning was beautiful and there are TONS of woodpeckers. The campfire station is perfect for sitting around and even to cook on, since there is cement pavers around the fire to set hot things on. Goats and chickens are so cute to see :) great weekend getaway to unplug!
