After a long drive coming in at 3 AM John was gracious enough to allow us to stay on his beautiful property. Waking up to the beautiful scenery was absolutely the best way to start our trip I appreciate your last-minute accommodations and I look forward to my next stay with you for hopefully longer.

A wonderful and large campsite! Perfect for stargazing and relaxing evenings by the fire. We truck camped here with another couple and enjoyed being able to set up right there on site with our two trucks. Plenty of room to spread out. Our host was wonderful! He checked on us, chatted with us, and told us all about the property. A a very kind person and a beautiful piece of land! FYI, you can order some wood directly from him and he will deliver it to your site. Next time we will try one of the other sites on property. They are all great options.

Nice sites, beautiful open field behind them that’s great for star gazing. Fire pits at each sight and some solar lighting to help a bit as well.

Me, my brothers, and several of our friends reserved all four campsites on John’s expansive and beautiful property! We spent Memorial Day Weekend on his 600-acre property celebrating my brother’s bachelor party and we had a blast. Everything exceeded expectations and John was super helpful and welcomed us with open arms. He set up a space for us far back in the property so it truly felt like we were alone in the woods. Huge widespread fields and towering mossy trees surrounded us without a lick of civilization in sight — just what we wanted! And yet, just two minutes away is a grocery store, a Circle K, a liquor store, and some other essential stops, so if you forget something, one of these places will surely have it. One afternoon we all walked around all the trails John created and had such a fun time seeing all its features. It’s beautiful, John is great, and we highly recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for an isolated camping experience with lots of space and lots of natural beauty.
