Wake up to the sound of roosters on this farm in progress. Richard was a kind and friendly host, willing to accommodate all Campers. Farm animals a plenty of you want to lend a hand during your stay. Some waterfront spots available as well as spots with hookups, or if you prefer something a little more private there is a wooded area behind the house. Left with 2 dozen fresh farm eggs that we'll be enjoying for the next 2 weeks.

Unlike other campsites, this place offers a sense of community with visitors. Richard was a very straightforward guy that was generous and upon arrival, showed us his property and explained what was available to us. There’s no “assigned” camping spots, so It’s nice not having to conform to a certain space or zone and being able to utilize anything that was needed. You can setup your camp right next to your vehicle, or you could use your camper here. Perfect for a night away from the city, or just to enjoy Florida Wilderness.
This trip to Richard's land was perfect for what I was doing on the west coast. This is a basic camp site for your camper and a place to lay your head. It's camping. If you prefer an extravagant glamping experience instead of camping, you probably won't make it down the dirt road. There is good power never had any outages. If relaxing is what you want you can do that at the site. If it's sight seeing and beaches, is an easy 30 minutes up the road. Many restaurants and breweries within 20 minutes. Everyone keeps to themselves and you can come and go as you please. Richard was a very gracious host always waving and asking if there is anything he can do. I would definitely go back
Even though in range of the city this has more of a relaxes farm feel. Host very polite.
Great peopleplace needs improveme
Great friendly people. Feels like a community and everyone is willing to lend you a hand if you need it. Also, signal with both Verizon and AT&T are good.
Unfortunately, it is not full hookups as the profile states. There is a "dump" station you can back up to. Also, the water is drawn from the canal and it is very stained. We filtered the water several times and couldn't get it to be clear. There's also two wild ducks that have called the property home as they get fed and the top of my RV was their favorite spot. Had to get up there to wash off all the feces they left behind.
It's a work in progress farm. The host is very nice. If you are looking for somewhere to pitch a tent or park a trailer/RV for the night, this place is great, but it is literally just a piece of land. There is nowhere to explore or go for a walk or hike. The rocky road driveway you enter to get to the property is the only place to walk. There is a canal, but there is no space to walk along it. I would recommend the host clean up some of the debris, such as the pile of tires and a few other things to make the view nicer. In addition, having individual fire pits would be nice.

I loved it here. I tent camped and there were several sites along the outer edges of the property nestled in tall pines, palmettos and ferns.
Welcoming, affordable, convenient
Richard greeted us with a friendly smile and a walking tour of the area he had freshly mowed and prepared for our tent site in the back of the property among trees and shrubs. Having arrived at the end of the day we quickly set up and turned in early. Due to rain in the forecast and sleep disturbances from motorcycles somewhere near but off the property, we checked out before the 2nd night that we had planned to stay. The chickens helped us wake up early and enjoy the day at downtown Naples before we packed up and headed to Ft Lauderdale.
