We bought this property in 2014. It is 215 acresof open pastures, woodlands, a 10 acre lake and a 1 acre pond. The property is  under a conservation easement to protect it from development. It was once a tobacco farm owned by Potter Woodberry. It still has several of the old tobacco barns on site that we are slowly improving so we can host events.

Stink Weed Farm RV spots
Fabulous! Don’t miss it.
I am so happy that I found Stink Weed Farm when we were looking for a place to spend a few nights in our travel trailer. It was actually my second choice, but I’m extremely glad that first choice declined. I hate to think that we might have missed it. I can’t say enough good things about the place. The property is just beautiful; huge live oaks are all over the place, and there were loads of yellow, purple, and red wildflowers with butterflies flitting about. Stacey, the owner, gave us and extensive tour in her 4 wheeler. We saw old shade tobacco barns, blackberry fields, fields of hay waiting to be bailed, Scottish Highlander and Florida Cracker cows, donkeys, and their pretty 12 acre pond which is stocked with bass and bream. My husband was able to take their small johnboat out on the lake where he caught a half a dozen small and medium sized bass. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. There are only 5 RV sites on this huge property, so if you want privacy, there will most likely be no one else in view. It’s like boondocking out in the country, but with the comforts of electricity, water, and a dump station. We will most assuredly be returning to Stink Weed Farm.

Stink Weed Farm tent camping
Awesome place!
Stacey was a great host, met us at the front of the property. Very good at communication via text. She show us her property let us choose where we wanted to camp. The 10 acre lake is awesome if you like to fish, it's loaded woth bass and caught some bluegill. Was able to use a guest bathroom near the home, that also had a kitchen, outdoor couch and tv. We mostly hung around the lake. You can use a kayak or a john boat with a trolling motor to travel around the lake. Saw a few gators in the lake feom a distance which was cool. Nice farm, very private, nice getaway. If you have the chance check this place out you can't go wrong.

Stink Weed Farm tent camping
Exceeded our Expectations!
This was our first time using Hipcamp so we weren’t really sure what to expect, but with three small children we knew they would love the farm animals. Stacy reached out right after we booked and never stopped being pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Her directions were precise and she even greeted us the front, gave us our choice of sites and took us on a tour of their BEAUTIFUL property they’ve been renovating for events. We had access to a bathroom, shower and even a kitchen (in which she included farm fresh eggs!) yet it was private enough to have the full camping experience which my children loved. The property was beautiful, the hosts were helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back!
