Excellent host - lovely property!
Floy is an outstanding host with a beautiful piece of property.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful wildlife and trees all around.
The shower house he has on the property is a wonderful added benefit for all who stay there.
Would love to return sometime in the future.

Serendipity in the country camping
I arrived just as it was getting dark. My host, Floy was both gracious and welcoming. His property is out a ways from 75, and there is ample room for many folks. I was in my SUV but there were also folks in campers, trucks and several 🏕️ tents.
One if the best features of his property is the very clean community bathroom. It had a hot shower, sink & mirror and toilet. You could tell everyone was taking care to keep it tidy after their visits.
And Floy is a sweetheart-friendly and kind and very approachable. I saw him going around to chat with the various folks camping.
The Myakka State Park is not far away and I definitely recommend spending some time there. And the UTC Mall is not far away heading west from Floy’s place.
I could only visit for two nites but I had such a great trip!

Great spot!
Floy's camp was great. They went above and beyond. My air pump was broken and they found one for me to use and then let me keep it! Anytime I'm out this way I'll camp there.

Serendipity in the country camping
Beautiful place, great host. I've stayed at many federally funded camping sites, they don't allow hammocks on trees, or making fires from gathered materials and loads of other restrictions. The only thing you have to do at Floy's place is leave it better than you found it. I'll definitely be there in the future.
