Very private and secluded. 21 minutes +/- from I-75, I-10 and beautiful downtown Madison with shopping, dining, hospital. Walk to the Withlacoochee River boat ramp, fishing, swimming, paddling, boating. Blue springs is only 2 miles by boat or 3 miles by car, swimming, cave diving and hiking are all available there, paddle up and float back. Excellent cell service on property. On a county-maintained dirt road, bring your ATV and explore the miles of dirt roads.

JesAndJohn’s campsite was awesome! What an incredible spot they have near the beautiful Withlacoochee River! They have thought of all the things that can make a camp trip so much easier. The spot is private with a gate. You have a yurt with 2 cots and pads on them. There is a camp toilet and shower that is covered. They have a really nice grill/ fire pit next to a picnic table with umbrella by the yurt. There is also a new large fire pit with benches that we didn’t even use because the smaller one in camp worked great for us preparing meals and sitting by since there were only 2 of us. They had left firewood by both the grill and fire pit which was really nice, as well as grill tools etc. We were just REALLY IMPRESSED by all that JesAndJohn thought of. Thank y’all for a great weekend at Camp 21!
Area is right next to Madison blue springs ! Suwannee state park is not too far either. Was a private quiet little area all to yourselves. Tent and cots are already set up for you so don’t worry about bringing those. Just take sheets and pillows.
The yurt was very cozy and clean! Loved the fire pit and the outhouse was a nice addition. There were lots of ticks, so we had to be vigilant about checking for them on our bodies. Not a big deal to us, but to less "campy" people, it might be a turn off. Easy directions and peaceful campsite.
Thank you! We treat for bugs twice a year, tick season came a little early this year. Thanks for pointing it out, we have since set our calendar for three times a year.
A lot a space, very secluded, the yurt was extremely cozy, and the multiple fire pits were awesome. Definitely going to come back.
