My wife, father-in-law and 2 year old daughter spent New Year's weekend on Scott's property (along with our dog and pet bunny). It was like being on a private island. Beautiful scenery and room to roam! Bring a kayak or small boat to fish the big lake. Great people to share such a place! Thanks Scott!

We stayed one night on Scott’s land. I thought “it’s too short, to actually relax”, but i was wrong. As soon as you drive down the dirt road you start to disconnect. Finding our place under the shade to park our van , with the beautiful view of the lake right in front of us, was mesmerizing. The weather was perfect the day we arrived and the day we left. We were able to do some hiking and picture taking thru the pine tree farm and orange groves. Took a drive on our way out to the other side where you can reserve for parties or weddings. There, we took more pictures and admired the Old trees that are breathtaking. We will definitely be back. We were able to spend a quiet and relaxing Christmas Eve/Christmas there. Thank you Scott!

We arrived later on Friday night than expected and Scott was extremely accommodating when we arrived. He let us pick our spot and it did not disappoint. Our camp spot was directly in front of the water and it was absolutely stunning to wake up to. Scott allowed us to gather firewood around the grounds which saved us some money! The citrus trees also smelled amazing and we took a nice walk throughout the farm.

McKinnon Groves is amazing! Surrounded by water, giant live oaks, and orange groves. Tons of spots to setup camp. Scott was an incredible host and very responsive. Will definitely be back soon with an even larger group of people. I 110% recommended booking!!

I came up from Miami to ride the West Orange Trail and stayed at the Grove for two nights. My spot right on the lake was scenic and secluded. I saw all sorts of cool wildlife and even a Bald Eagle. Unfortunately, I didn't get to throw a fishing line in the lake this time but I surely will next time.
