Wonderful week camping on 30e
We very much enjoyed our week stay at Cape San Blas RV on 30E. I was a little concerned about how close our RV would be to the main road. I was worried the traffic noise would be to busy and loud for our taste. However, we positioned our RV so as to provide patio area facing the palmetto trees. The traffic noise was fine. The short walk to the beach was perfect. The short walk or bike ride to the store and shrimp company was a plus.
Definitely enjoyed the fried grouper for lunch one day at the Shrimp Company. Also, our last nite we stopped by the Shrimp company for a seafood boil. It was delicious. We enjoyed eating it on the patio area by the palmetto trees at our camp.
The short drive to the State Park on the north end of the peninsula was enjoyable. We took a lunch and ate by the bay. It was beautiful and a cool place to explore small sea life. A perfect place for smaller kids to swim. The water is clear, calm and shallow.
This is a wonderful vacation spot. We hope to return again soon.
My only complaint is of no fault to the owner. When we first set up our camp space my husband had to walk along the tree line on the edge of this camp lot to pick up trash. It wasn’t a huge amount of trash but enough to be unsightly. He filled a small plastic grocery bag. It would be very nice if all would clean up after themself and leave a wonderful spot for the next visitors.
Very nice relaxing spot!!
Very nice spot within easy walking distance to the beach. Just walk past a few houses and you're there. Very nice quiet beach. The gravel drive was easy to navigate into and level. We enjoyed using the firepit one night and it was far enough from city lights to see lots of stars. We felt secluded and peaceful but was close enough to drive to Port St. Joe for restaurants.
