Greetings! Come enjoy our beautiful tent space nestled in a wooded lot located 2 blocks from the beautiful Rainbow River, one of the largest spring fed rivers in the world! We provide water, electric, screen tent, fire pit, eco toilet, outdoor shower, and parking area. Kayak rentals available. It is a short walk to the 40-mile Withlacoochee biking/walking trail which has a large variety of birds and wildlife for your viewing pleasure. Rainbow River State park and head springs is located 4.6 miles away, a great place for swimming and snorkeling with an admission fee of $2 . There is a laundromat, grocery stores, and a large selection of restaurants nearby for your dining pleasure. See you soon! PEACE

      Janice is an AMAZING host. Everything was perfect. I love the space. We only stayed for one night and had to leave very early the following day due to a bad storm but it was part of the adventure.

      Overall, we had a wonderful time. This was our first trip through Hipcamp so we didn’t know what to expect at all. Our hostess, Janice went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and give us privacy. I told her the trip was for our son’s 6th birthday and when we arrived she greeted us with cupcakes, which made him feel really special! She even went as far as to drive us to KP Hole to launch our tube/kayak to float down the river. The only thing I would pass on to future campers the layout of the property. I anticipated having more privacy based on the photos and previous campers reviews so I was a little shocked when we arrived and we were only 20ft-30ft from our hosts home. Although that aspect was less than ideal, we still had a great time and would recommend River Runs Near It based on the overall location and hospitality of the host.

      Our Weekend Retreat
      Janice was super friendly and extremely helpful in all aspects of our stay. Property was clean and it was pretty peaceful. So close to the river with so much to do! We would definitely stay there again.

      Great cental camping spot!
      Was a great site with an awesome host and good privacy. Site is a larger backyard with minimal neighbors in sight. Fire circle, bathroom with shower, extension cord for phone charging, and hose. Nice table and chairs aswell as tent hangout spot. Definitely would recommend for those visiting Rainbow river or devils den
