We stayed for a couple nights here while visiting a friend in town. We didn’t spend a lot of time at camp but it was very quiet and peaceful in the evenings and mornings. Communication was good with the host. The sites are close together and there isn’t a lot of privacy but was a good place to park for the weekend!
It was quiet and the camp host was very kind and accommodating and runs the place well. The price was right for a quick overnight. If you're looking for an extension of suburbia though, this isn't that. It's rough around the edges-- cold water outdoor shower and porta-potties for facilities. A few nice rigs but a lot of people living here and just getting by. We could sense community here though and would have liked to spend more time.
Amie has been a wonderful host!! She has been very punctual and accommodating with all our questions and requests. The grounds are nice and all of our needs were met, all for a very reasonable price. A perfect little get away for the minimalist camping experience! Highly recommend!! 😁
It was such a sweet space. I met my neighbors and loved hanging out and chatting. Everyone was very kind and I felt safe camping there alone in my camper. There’s a hose for washing and the porta potties were fine. I’d love to come back sometime!
Great for smaller campers, even at less than 10 ft in height you may brush a few tree limbs, the people are more than helpful in getting into your spot, there is power water port a poddy, a quiet side and if you want there's also a campfire to sit around and talk to the fellow campers it's your choice.
A nice quiet respite from the noise
What a wonderful and pleasant surprise! This was exactly the getaway that I was looking for before running a 10K. I needed to settle myself down and in order to do that a quiet environment was in order and that's exactly what this was. And Amie was so in touch and in communication with me throughout. I will definitely go back!
