A great little farm. On this little spot of earth you feel totally at home. Isela is a wonderful host and we were also totally thrilled by her animals. We will definitely come back.
Camping on new year’s eve!
Miss Esela was accommodating, helpful and was willing to share the experience of camping in her farm. Her animals were wonderful to view and interact with. Our Great Dane , Cosmo was curious and loved them all. It was a great get away especially on New Year’s Eve. We look forward to our next visit soon!!!
Camping on the farm
We had a wonderful experience with this property! Isela (the host) was accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed! My children (7 & 11) were able to help feed and care for the farm animals under her patient guidance. They are already asking to go back! I highly recommend purchasing farm fresh eggs to take home.
The site was shaded scrub pine with enough coverage that we felt like we were out in the woods but still within a short walk to the bathroom. Isela was kind enough to run an extension cord to mine so that we could inflate our mattresses. Also, there is a hose available for water nearby. Parking was within 20 yards or so of our site which made everything very easy. We were provided with ample firewood for a small fee.
All in all a wonderful experience for a single mom and two kids!
It could be cheaper
Backwoods camping with a flushing toilet and fire pits, there’s lots of uneven ground, it isn’t like a camp site I would normally pay $50 for.
If you’re not having fun it’s your own fault. Make the best of each day and you don’t have to go back if you don’t like it
Hammock in pines
Wonderful rustic camping experience. Lots of animals on the farm. Great experience in FLA scrub. Would not recommend to"glamping" friends. Many nearby opportunities for kayaking, cold springs and attractions!! Hostess quite hospitable😊
My family and I had a bad experience at this site. The host was rude on one occasion due to a payment mix up and even accused my wife and I of "not being up front" and not having enough money. Isela did not respect our privacy and consistently reminded me to make sure our kids clean up after themselves. We kept our area clean no matter what and we clarified the payment mix up which was approved and had to contact support in order for the host to understand that the payment was covered. She handled the entire situation in a negative way had a attitude and was rude to myself and my fiance on the last night of stay. She could of been more understanding as we stayed for three nights .I took the time to even help Isela on my first night around the farm with carrying the firewood out (We didn't purchase any, just being kind). Unfortunately, I would not return with my family to this site and am contemplating ever using Hip Camp App for our family in the future.
