Weekend getaway
Quiet and serene with plenty of space between sites. Hearing the cows, donkey and roosters was such a fun addition. Fishing on the pod was fun and convenient. The land was well maintained and was easy to walk around. The bath house was spacious and conveniently located. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back.

This was such a wonderful oasis. We were so happy to call Ricki's place home for 3 nights. He was so responsive and communicative that it felt seamless to arrive and set up our space. The bath house was a great asset after hiking all day. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Great camping site
Lovely spot next to the pond at Ricki's farm! Under beautiful live oaks with Spanish moss on the branches. Not close to other campers, and close enough to the bath house. No electric or water hookups yet but there was a hose near the bath house and we had a fantastic campfire. We loved this quiet site!

Special and enjoyable!
We had a wonderful time with our family and 2 dogs! Plenty of room, lots of shade and a fantastic view of a spring fed pond that produced lots of fish and fun! Ricki was a great host and provided us with a special experience that we won’t soon forget.

The camp area is on Rick's property where he also lives with his private home visible from the 3 sites that around the pond, Your experience will include his cattle that are free roaming on the property that keep their distance but are nice to watch as you spend your days there. You will also hear the rooster giving a morning wake up call. Rick was there as we arrived to guide and assist in getting our camper parked and after that would stop toward the end of each day to check in. He wants to make all his guests comfortable as much as he can. We had some lovely morning sunrises that left a beautiful reflection on the pond of the trees around the water. Williston is about a 15 minute drive, away. Cedar Lakes is a beautiful stop to see the gardens while you are there. We had a relaxing couple days at the Monarch. If planning a trip you need to be very observant when you are arriving as the address is not easily visible from the road and drove past the first time.

Ricki’s little slice of heaven
We truly enjoyed our stay! Ricki’s little slice of heaven is wonderful. We enjoyed the views in the morning around the small pond in front of us with the live oaks and palm trees. Ricki was a communicative and responsive host. We’ll be back for sure!
