I fortunate to have been able to spend 9 days at Scott’s unique property in Johns Lake. I had an entire large expanse of waterfront all to myself with no one else in sight. Scott was most accommodating and congenial. I will certainly go back when the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended!
Great location where you are away from the urban life but 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants. The view of the lake is beautiful. Scott was very responsive and gave great direction. Highly recommend!
What a dream. Do not think twice about booking this spot. We saw lots of wildlife like raccoons, an alligator on the lake, and beautiful double crested cormorants. I didn't see any bobcats but read a review about one and wonder if some night meows we heard we from one. The oranges were harvested during our week stay and were so lucky to have been able to taste a couple. The trees are too stunning. The peace and quiet was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Privacy and accessibility!
My wife, father-in-law and 2 year old daughter spent New Year's weekend on Scott's property (along with our dog and pet bunny). It was like being on a private island. Beautiful scenery and room to roam! Bring a kayak or small boat to fish the big lake. Great people to share such a place! Thanks Scott!
Relaxation at its best!
We stayed one night on Scott’s land. I thought “it’s too short, to actually relax”, but i was wrong. As soon as you drive down the dirt road you start to disconnect. Finding our place under the shade to park our van , with the beautiful view of the lake right in front of us, was mesmerizing. The weather was perfect the day we arrived and the day we left. We were able to do some hiking and picture taking thru the pine tree farm and orange groves. Took a drive on our way out to the other side where you can reserve for parties or weddings. There, we took more pictures and admired the Old trees that are breathtaking. We will definitely be back. We were able to spend a quiet and relaxing Christmas Eve/Christmas there. Thank you Scott!
