My wife and I stayed on this very spot in January 2020 and fell in LOVE with it! Being relative newbies to RVing, we wanted something private but also wanted a beach front vacation without spending 5K for a house. So, we decided to start searching. Turns out, there isn't a whole lot of RV hookup spots right on the beach. But, we ran across this lovely privately owned gulf front lot on Cape San Blas in Florida and stayed for a week that January. We loved it so much we tried to book it again in May of that year, but it was of course booked the entire month. So, we booked another spot and headed to the cape in May anyway. We wanted to see our favorite spot again, so we drove by one day and low and behold, it was for sale. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to own something we fell in love with so quickly, so we took the jump, and bought it! And now, we can share it with all of you. Treat yourself to a beach front vacation in your own "home" and enjoy the journey friends. You only live once! GULF FRONT! Yes, you have your own path directly to the beach along with outdoor shower to rinse of your day on the sand and then enjoy the grill and picnic area for your afternoon dinner with your group. This 1/2 acre private property gulf front and equipped with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, trash pickup, an outdoor patio, grill and misting outdoor shower. Just bring your swimming suits you'll be set. Cape San Blas, FL is one of the most beautiful and laid back places you will visit. This property is located on Cape San Blas and is right on the water (gulf side). The cape bike path you can take all the way to the state park and explore the entire cape and all it has to offer (22 mile round trip bike path). Also, check out kayaking in the bay or horse-back riding on the beach! Salinas Park is just a stone's throw where you can enjoy picnics with the family walk out to the bay or even drive onto the beach (permit required). The sleepy little towns of Port St. Joe and Appalachicola have so many great local restaurants and shops and you will love the laid back chill of these old Florida towns. If you've never taken your crew and camped right on the beach, then this is the place for you. Works for RTT’s too!

we took the kids and dog camping and loved the beach front site. Worked well for our RTT with the available hookups for extra amenities. Enjoyed every bit with Long Beach walks and playing in the surf. Dogs were allowed on this beach which was perfect. Would come again!

Great location!! Full hookups.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. We would definitely stay here again. The site entrance was a little tight for our 45' motorhome but we made it in. The properry itself is level with a nice wood deck and picnic table. There was plenty of room on the site for our gear and small truck. The beach access is perfect and the beach in the area is gorgeous. We walked on it every morning. What a great way to start the day. There is additional biking and hiking in the area. Port St. Joe is a cute little town with nice shops and essentials. Apalachicola is close by and it is another sleepy town fun to explore.

Hidden Gem

What a special place! Nestled in a small neighborhood, this site was well equipped for our camper. With just a short walk up to the beach, we were able to explore this beautiful stretch of coast, ride bikes on the sand, and enjoy a campfire at night. It was a short drive to have a couple day trips to the nearby towns as well. So much to see and explore in this area, including the Milky Way one clear night! We can’t wait to come back.

Brought our 40’ Entregra. There was plenty of room for it and our truck. This is our second visit here and absolutely love the dog friendly beaches and the location!! So peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for letting us use your slice of heaven again!

Perfect week on the Cape

This site was perfect for our annual trip to the Cape! We go each year for scallop season, but we prefer to stay Gulf-side for walks on the beach, sandcastle building, sunrises/sunsets and for the kids to get sufficiently worn out from playing in the waves before bedtime. As Hipcamp hosts ourselves in South Walton County, we were delighted to stay on this well-maintained and quiet site. Even though we expended much energy in our hunt for scallops and many sweaty bikes rides to and from the kayak launch, we left leaving like we'd had a week of R&R! Already booked for next year. Thank you for making our annual trip something we look even more forward to!
