We have fuzzy eared friendly Scottish Highlanders who will eat out of your hand, 5 miniature Aberdeens who are also quite tame and one beautiful Dexter. The pasture sits behind a house that is nearing 200 years old and belonged to my grandmother Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn whose mother was Montine Dunagan.

If you want to build a fire, you will have no difficulty finding deadfall all along the fence lines. In fact we appreciate people picking it up and burning it. If you need a bonfire let us know a little in advance and we can build a head high bonfire that will last a couple of days.

We are centrally located (5-15 minutes away from) between Ginnie Springs, Gilchrist Blue Springs, Rum Island, Poe Springs, River Run State Park, Oleno State Park, the Santa Fe River, and Ichetucknee Springs.

We do not have a RV hook-up just 4, 110 volt outlets per the picture.

Perfect place to pitch your tent and let the cares of the world fade away. The property is beautiful. The animals are incredible! Book it. You’ll love it.

Tom’s land was beautiful! We had 35 acres to ourselves in a pasture full of sheep and cows. My kids were so happy to be able to feed the animals. Only 10-20 min drive to the springs in the area. We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for state park amenities with full bathrooms and running water, this is not your place. BUT…. If you are looking for an incredible place where you can enjoy nature, spend time understanding the gentleness of a new born lamb, or enjoy the antics only cows can bring, you really don’t want to miss out on this place. My biggest fear is it will become too busy for me to spent my own time here.
Make the reservation.

We absolutely loved our time! The field was beautiful day and night. The host was extremely helpful and feeding the cows made my kids day.

My favorite place to get away from the cares of this world. It is full of nature. It is safe, and it is a great place to see friendly animals and people. Tom is a friendly individual who is willing to share his land with us in a natural state. If you’re looking for state park amenities, this isn’t your place. If you are an avid camper and know how to live without facilities then this place is for you!!!

Thank you for having us and our dogs and thank you for being such an amazing host!

Dunagan's Meadow was great! It may be one of the best places on Hipcamp. Tom is a great host. He showed us around the property. Allowed us to feed the cows and sheep. Wife was even allowed to hold a two day old baby. The history at the property is very interesting and Tom takes his time out to tell you about it. He will even show you a beautiful, hidden sinkhole on his property. Youre so close to everything you would like to do, but far away from everyone else that wants to do those things as well. We are going back. Already have plans, and we hope to book this site often.

The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly. We got to meet and feed a bunch of sheep and cows when we arrived. The campsite is very nice and clean. Beautiful open pasture where you can pitch a tent in between two live oak trees and stargaze. Campsite came with a trash can, electric hookup, a picnic table, and a fire pit with a grill top. Awesome place, would definitely stay again.
