We absolutely fell in love with this hidden gem!
Lebanon station is rich in history; in the 1920s and 30s the train ran through this station. The property has transformed throughout the years and now is an amazing oasis of waterfalls, lush trees, and an amazing bar and hangout for motorcyclists.
The property is a huge sprawling 23 acres, with so much to see and do. The back of the property has two ponds with plenty of picnic sites available for use. The grounds are impeccably maintained and we loved exploring through the growing trees, beautiful grass, and gorgeous scenery.
Campers have many different options on locations for setting up a tent to camp, access to a mobile fire pit, and short walk to restrooms. There are multiple hookups for RVs, and we tucked ourselves in the trees next to one of the long-term residents. Next to the sites are outdoor showers, which were clean and perfect after a long hot Florida day.
We loved meeting Iron, the stunning friendly horse that Frank rescued 18 years ago. He is so friendly and would come right over any time we came up to the gate, eager for pets.
On weekends, the place comes alive with visitors to the beautiful music venue and lodge. We loved seeing all the stunning motorcycles coming in and meeting all the locals.
There’s a couple who run the open air restaurant from Friday to Sunday, and it was an awesome treat to have a break from camping food and get a delicious hot dinner, finished off with some of the best cheesecake we’ve ever had!
Thanks again Frank for the great experience and wonderful hospitality!
