Good location for a quick overnight stay. This is a house in a neighborhood with a large lot. Pros shower and toilet, easy check-in, guest host was friendly and accommodating. Cons: near the road so car noise. Rooster woke us up at 5 AM. Which was fine with me because I live in the country but others may have a problem with lol. We literally only need a flat space to park our truck that we sleep out of and a cook up a quick dinner. So it was perfect for us. Also this area is very difficult to find camping, the state parks stay full. So worked out great for us! Was a lifesaver.

This place was just what we needed! Centrally located between everything we had planned: biking at Jonathan Dickinson State Park and Lake Okeechobee, snorkeling at Phil Foster Park, and checking out the beach and blowing rocks. The property was beautiful with many things growing: nomi, dragon fruit, bananas, cranberry hibiscus, etc. were a few I noticed. The no frills bathroom was a BONUS! We chose the campsite by the road to car camp and for ease of access, but like the previous review said you can hear it. This didn’t bother us but we knew based on the aerial the situation we signed up for. The rooster was the most impressive alarm clock. He started intermittently from around 2:30 am to 6:30am, he roosts near the front of the property on a downed tree so the further site from the road might be more optimal. Again, he didn’t bother us but could see how he might be a deal breaker for some. Thank you Elizabeth for being available for suggestions nearby and providing such a lovely haven!

1) Elizabeth was a friendly, respectful, and accommodating host to me and my kids

2) I laughed at the fact that they have a rooster that has no issue being your 5AM alarm clock (and their dog, Jasmine, is so sweet and chill)

3) The property is homey, clean, peaceful, safe, and full of vegetation; in regards to the site I was on (#2)...you honestly forget you’re even near a road (any cars that did pass by behind the trees were just white noise to me or overtaken by the sounds of night critters)

4) The bathroom is shared with any other camper there, but there is enough room for if you wish to leave your hygiene products in the bathroom without anyones items overcrowding each other

5) You won’t regret booking here

Very nice spot, be sure to try and book a tour with Andy... his schedule fills up pretty quick but if you can get a slot you’ll be glad, he accepts payments in sweet treats

Anderson’s tropical food forest was the perfect campsite along our Florida road trip! The tent site was great - tucked under a big tree on a small patch of sand, making it extra comfortable. There was also a bathroom and shower access which was super nice. The small farm has bananas, coconuts, papaya, figs, and some other fruits and veggies - none of which were in season, but it was still a small, beautiful garden to camp in. Elizabeth the host was easy to communicate with and super friendly. Definitely would stop by again on following road trips!
