This is a climate controlled room (YES air conditioning!) in my horse barn. You may hear the sounds of horses, like some stamping and whinnying, especially at feed time. The floor, 12'x20', is mostly open to allow for air mattresses. Bring your own, or I have two twins. Please be sure to BRING YOUR OWN LINENS/BEDDING. There is a desk for working and wifi, and a comfy couch

Relax on our 5 acres and watch the eagles, hawks, and other wildlife, in addition to interacting with our gentle and kind horses. You can pet the horses and f I'm in the barn, you can also brush them... they love it. By the middle of June we should have a new Fell Pony foal for you to watch with its mom! Our friendly boxer, Myah will greet you by barking. If you don't like dogs, this is not the place for you, as she is often around outside. Sorry, she's not reliable around other dogs, so I can't allow pets.
There is a small fire ring with chairs, and wood to purchase for $5, OR you can collect it on the farm, or bring your own.

Beautiful, quaint, and clean.
Laura was a wonderful host and the space was perfect. We were looking for a break from tent camping and the barn bunkhouse was the retreat that we needed. The barn bathroom and shower was also a welcome amenity. The horses made for a special experience for my horse loving 10 and 12 year old daughters. I highly recommend the Barn Bunkhouse!
Laura hands down is one of the best hosts we’ve ever met! She warmly greeted us as we pulled in and gave us a nice tour of the place. The horse barn is near her house and easy to pull up to. The main bunkhouse door is just a few steps inside, with the full bathroom being right across the aisle.
It was awesome to find such a cute air conditioned lounge/glampsite! It was clean and in wonderful shape, as was the bathroom, which had full plumbing and a hot shower.
We spent most of our visit loving on the two sweet horses on the property, Bling and Issy. For nerdy horse lovers like me, Bling is a Fell pony (which is a very rare breed), and I was so excited to meet one in person!
The barn opens up into a beautiful lush area where the tent camping site is. The mature trees shaded it during the day, and the hammock was the perfect place to lay during the day watching the horses in the paddock right in front of us. There’s also a fire ring there for campers to use. There are some beautiful mature trees around the area and we got lucky to see some incredible birds like bald eagles, red shouldered hawks, and barn owls.
Maya is the resident dog, and she is the sweetest wiggliest happiest dog ever! She loved to come over and greet us and politely ask for pets every chance she got! For animal lovers like us, the campsite is truly paradise!
Laura’s place was amazing! Just what we needed after a long day of driving. It was cold and late, so being able to set up our sleeping stuff in a warm, bright room was wonderful. It’s comfortable and easy, and the bathroom was spotless and nice. In the morning we got to meet the sweet horses, which was a major highlight for the kids. Laura taught them how to give the horses snacks and pet them. If we are ever driving through Orlando again, we will definitely be staying here!
A breath of fresh air
From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Maya the boxer we knew this was the perfect getaway. Norah (9) and Isaac (6) had the trip of their lives and not once got bored. Ms Laura was a gracious host and was eager to answer the 1 million questions our children asked. Norah had a personal horse riding lesson which included proper grooming and saddling. Maya had plenty of frisbee time and lots of belly scratching. We were close enough to anything you could need but far enough away to feel like we were on a secluded farm in the middle.of nowhere.
Enjoy a peaceful stay in the barn!
It was a nice quiet place with a couple beautiful horses and a lovely host. I stayed in the barn house room and it was great, horse themed room was fun! Laura showed me the eagles with the new babies and her pony is about to have a baby too! It was totally relaxing!
Brilliant space indeed
What a brilliant and lovely space! I love that this stall was turned into a small room for guests. I loved my stay here for one night, and would have loved to stay another night or two if I’d had the time. Laura is a great host! I would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a unique experience- this was a great camping alternative for me as I didn’t want to set up my tent and all for just one night! The property was also very beautiful and flowers were blooming.
