We had a great night at Country Lane Camp. We ended up arriving late, but Joan was very accommodating, and waited up for us to arrive.

She was very responsive to my keeping her up to date with our late arrival. The outhouse was very clean, and it was just a wonderful night out in the country.

Yes, its a little "remote" however there is a cell tower about 1/2 mile away and we had great cell service.

Trust Joan when she says to use google maps as your gps, it worked perfectly and matched her written directions.

Lovely getaway. Host was gracious and respected our space. The outhouse was the cleanest and most lovely I’ve ever seen. Should not be called an outhouse. We saw many species of birds in the woods and surrounding farm fields. This was our first HipCamp experience, and it was great!

Surrounding farm fields Nice and levelLovely woodland site.

I loved the site. We slept in our transit van . Had plenty of room to park. We made fire. The location was great. No city lights made it easy to fall asleep. Joan was very nice and helpful. My dog enjoyed the walk around. It was close to the dog show in Brooksville. We will stay again.

Joan was very thoughtful and accommodating! Loved the location. About 10 minutes off any main roads so it's quite at night. Quite enough to hear the local livestock which was a nice change from the traffic I hear outside my window at home. The site was clean and plenty big for two of us. Tons of stuff to do all within a 30 minute drive! There's an electrical outlet for whatever you might need as well as a folder with detailed activities for you to look over at the site. Thanks again for the hospitality, Joan!

We were able to squeeze in one camping trip during 2020, and it was a 3-day stay at Country Lane Camp. Joan came out to meet us soon after arrival to give us a walking tour of the area and facilities. The campsite was a very good size, we set up 3 tents with plenty of room. The firepit had a couple of cooking grates, helping out with meal preparations. There was plenty of trees to give it a real campsite feeling. We would definitely stay here again.

Joan and her husband were very friendly and the site is beautiful. The low voltage electrical outlet was a nice touch and the outhouse was spotless. The property itself is peaceful and beautiful. My dog and I enjoyed the nature trail right on the property. I highly recommend this property and plan to return.

great spot for true camping. not a state park with campers all around. quiet and peaceful, except for the cows, coyotes and who knows what sounds. joan made it comfortable with firewood and a composting outhouse. nice getaway. would go again.
