A pasture is right next to the RV hook up so if you need to bring your best horse friend, they can camp right alongside of you for an additional $15.00 a day. You just need to show proof of Coggins and vaccines before arrival. Sand riding arena available for use, at your own risk. Pets are welcome as well, as long as they stay on a leash the entire time and are cleaned up after.
A fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs and picnic table is set up right outside your door.
The historic town of Micanopy is just a few minute drive and offers antique shopping, restaurants, unique gift shops, and entertainment. Paynes Prarie Preserve State Park is just a couple minute drive away and offers hiking trails and wildlife sightseeing. There is also trails for horseback riding within two miles of Collins Farm.

Collins Farm and all of its residents, including the humans are wonderful! It was a delightful experience for our whole family. We we’re in town for my daughters basketball tournament and Collins Farm was our landing spot through the weekend. We enjoyed the animals, had a fire, got to meet the more than pleasant owners, and just enjoyed our time looking over the green pastures and the country roads. They do still exist!
Single site next to a house and field. Farm animals nearby. Full hookup was available although I only needed the electrical. Hosts were awesome, sheep were hilariously friendly with my pups through the fence and goats were a bit more cautious. LOL enjoyed my stay. Pity I was not staying longer as it’s a beautiful property.
If it’s been raining know that the soil will be soft and if you have a heavy rig, you may need 4x4 over the grassy area. If you’re wide and long, be careful coming through the shared gate as there isn’t a ton of room. Doable cautiously.
We absolutely loved our week on the farm! Our 3 sons were over the moon with all the animals and helped out often. The property is very well kept, clean, quiet and private. We have stayed on many farms and I must say, this was by far the cleanest and well cared for yet.
There was plenty of room for our 42 ft fifth wheel and long bed, Dually truck.

We didn't get to enjoy the location as much as we would have liked due to rain! But good news it wasn't under water! The rain held out yesterday and the girls got to pet and feed the animals in the petting zoo!! They loved it! The little shed with cute activities was an awesome touch with the rainy weather. The trampoline was an awesome surprise. Very quiet area! My suggestion is to download some shows on a lap top or iPad! The cell service isn't good. We will be back! Thank you for your hospitality.
We really enjoyed our stay at Collins Farm. The farm itself was extremely peaceful, the animals super cute and funny, and Erika was a great host. You really could not beat the location. It was right next to town and only minutes away from the sights.

This is a great spot. Close to Gainesville and Ocala. So much to to do in these areas. You’ll see horses as you look out your window and many other animals. Erika is super friendly and attentive! They provided trash, wifi and all full hookups - 50amp electric, water and sewer. We had a great experience here and I highly recommend this spot.
