Christian is not located onsite, but he was kind enough to offer a personal tour of the campsite. I was working that day, so I wasn't able to meet him. However, I appreciated the gesture. Remember to bring the bug spray if you are a mosquito magnet.
Perfect for the price
Basically what I was expecting, there was a 3 minute walk in to the main camp area where the different sites were laid out. I found a nice shaded spot and set up, perfect for the price. The other tents and treehouse looked nice too, but I’m afraid of heights so idk if I could of slept up there. There were orange trees around my site
Rugged is the right word. This is not anywhere close to a KOA. Don’t expect too much, or anything really, from the toilet or the shower, but, I gotta say, for 9 bucks, this was a fantastic stay. I lucked out with some great fellow campers, though. Had an absolute ball.
Were I to do it again, I would get the beer and the firewood delivery. Probably coffee, too.
Certainly one of my most pleasant stays on my recent trip and one I will remember for forever.
