Welcome to Camp Bijou, meaning something small or highly prized. At 2.5 acres, Camp Bijou is just that. I enjoyed raising my daughters here and now that they are grown, I wanted to let others come and enjoy our little slice of paradise also!  The campsite starts about 60' from our home and continues in a pie shape for 2 acres. I provide an enclosed portable toilet, waste bags, toilet paper, wipes, firewood, electric (electrical cord), a water hose, firewood, shovel, rake, table & chairs. On the property you'll see deer, turkey, fox and lots of Florida wildlife! There is very thick vegetation in the back. It is occasionally wet all the way in the back (not in campsites), email me for updates.  A few blocks over there is a private entrance to a 7,400 acre Cypress Creek Nature Preserve with 19 miles of trails (5 miles paved) available for hikers, off-road bikers and horseback riders.  We are only 20 minutes off the Interstate - so we are close to everything.

    Private Tent Camping in quiet area
    The place was nothing like described. The area was dirty and dingy. It’s not a campsite, it is Lori’s backyard! This was our first time camping and it left such a sour taste. I do not recommend this site. Not even worth the $31!

    Wow this spot is perfect! It’s quaint yet close to any amenities you could ever need! Lori was a fantastic host! The property was beautiful and had everything you could need for a great camping experience! 5 STARS!

    Great camping spot.
    Was a nice place to camp with my granddaughters. Lori went out of her way for us and that was much appreciated. Nice and quiet spot with a owl that visited us both evenings we there.
