Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 600 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living. We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally.
We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of other stores with our blueberries. We also have an active we-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers.
There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.
The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is 50 miles away and hosts several large music festivals from Spring to Fall including Hullaween on October 23-25.

What a beautiful spot! I absolutely loved camping here -- you can see a bazillion stars, the campsites are set up really nicely, and the surroundings are just gorgeous. We arrived after dark and Richard was so kind and helpful in guiding us to our campsite. I'd def come back!
Great for star gazing.
Enjoyed my night on the farm. I love outdoor showers and this one is awesome. The location is perfect if you are intending to visit springs and the Suwannee River. Very spacious campsites with a shade tree, picnic table and fire pit.
Richard let my brother and I camp with very little notice. He was friendly and acomodating. The land was very large and well kept, and the area was extremely quiet. I would definitely recommend this camp.
Perfect, unforgettable, majestic
The Farm was beautiful and very peaceful! The campsites were very big and private. Richard was very kind, helpful, and had lots of great suggestions. he went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one! It was close and convenient to the springs , the Suwannee river, and a few beautiful beaches . Can’t wait to come visit again .
Great little reprieve from the city
Very beautiful spot. Sites are easy to find, laid out nicely. You have privacy if you want it, but are close enough to the other 3 sites (4 in total) to mingle if you want. The old quarry/lake is a delightful little swimming hole with jumping points if you're into that. The local dog is super friendly. We never did locate the showers, but we only stayed on night and went to the springs the next day, so wasn't a big deal. Port-a-potty was clean. Was an awesome spot to pitch a tent for the night, watch the stars, and enjoy some peace and quiet.
10/10 would recommend!
Beautiful wide open field to spend an evening! My fiancé and I showed up around 8:30pm and caught the very end of a sunset as we set up our sleeping bag before having a great night of sleep under the stars. Even got to pick some blueberries in the morning for breakfast! Great little spot and a short drive to a few of Florida’s nicest springs.
We had an absolutely lovely time at the farm. My best friend and I stayed two nights, and we were the only campers on those days.
The camp ground was well maintained and peaceful. Outdoor solar showers provided us plenty of hot water for showers everyday; sometimes twice a day, after a swim in a pond. The provided wash station with a table was convenient to do dishes. They have a very friendly chocolate lab who checked on us from time to time to make sure we were staying out of trouble!
There are many natural parks, springs, and rivers within about 30-40 minutes drive, and we happened to be in the area when one of the kayak rental shops was doing the full moon guided kayaking tour. So, we made a last minute reservation and enjoyed tranquil night kayaking.
