Places to see near Bowman's Landing
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
It was a wonderful experience!! Bowman's Landing has a perfect spot for those who love nature. Being able to waking up next to Santa Fe River was a plus!! The view is amazing. The place is beautiful; the hosts are wonderful: Nancy was extremely helpful and kind by providing a fan for us when we, new campers, forgot to bring one for our tent!! I will return for sure!!! I love it!! And I totally recommended!!
Great campsite! Nice little beach area and lovely being right on the river.
The bathhouse area is a bit of a walk but is clean and has a nice hot shower. Although we didn't use them (busy) great that there are kayaks for use on the river. Our friends stayed in one of the tiny cabins at Bowman's landing so it's a great campsite with several options.
Paradise in northern florida
What can I say about Mike, Nancy, Joe, and the entire team at Bowman’s Landing….. “SIMPLY PERFECT” is the best statement I can make about these incredible people and this slice of Paradise in Northern Florida.
I’ve camped all over and from the first moment I booked my Trip Mike was immediately in contact to help guide me on my adventure. I was connected with the camp host Nancy who was equally as responsive and amazing. I knew from the moment I spoke to them I was in for an incredible experience. As soon as I arrived Joe greeted us and made sure I had the “Camp Tour” which was amazing. From the comfort station, ultra clean bathrooms, the shared library, coffee, community cooler and a freezer filled with popsicles from my childhood. We bought a wheel barrel filled with firewood and headed to set up our camp. Camp was very well kept; the primitive camping spots were clearly labeled with picnic tables to boot! The next three days and two nights were serene peaceful and perfect. If you’re looking at potential spots near Fort White and the Florida springs ….Look no further. This is your home away from home. Next time we might even try the cabins…they looked super rad also.
Bruce and Tina
Excellent spot and Excellent service. They were knowledgeable about the river and answered any questions we had. The spot was right on the water and was absolutely beautiful! They had kayaks for use and firewood already chopped. Can't wait to go back!
We absolutely loved staying at campsite 1. Right on the river! There was a lovely common area with showers, maps, microwave, fridge, corn hole, swing and dock. Kayaks and bicycles were available for use. Pet friendly and friendly hosts. We will definitely return!
