The camp spot we stayed at was very comfortable and clean. We had a RTT and pitched it at one of the traveled spot with picnic table and fire ring. There’s an outdoor shower which is nicely set up, also very clean to rinse off at the end of the day. My gf really liked the convenience and cleanliness of the area. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We loved our stay here! Lots of space at the campsite. The grounds were beautiful and the shower/bathroom was a huge plus! We plan to come back again and hope to camp down by the water!

Best of both worlds! Port-a-potty and outdoor shower grace the start of your path through the woods to your primitive campsite a few minutes away. This is not car camping, take your stuff down in a backpack. Campfire ring and provided hammock in a forest setting under the stars. Adventurous souls can try a muddy trek down to Bayside and kayaks. Try their new glamping option for a more deluxe stay with a bed. My fav! Congenial, accommodating hosts aim to please.

Great location and amenities. Shower was definitely a high light after a long day at the beach. Definitely would recommend you bring a pair of hiking boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. The path to the tent site can be muddy. Over all a great site.

We met not only owners but also very kind and sensitive people. Hillary, Thomas and their children are wonderful.
We enjoyed a one day to the campground in the middle of a forest and swam in the bay close to it. We highly recommend their place if you need a primitive nature journey!

The Bay Forest Primitive Retreat was a lovely place to camp! Each available campsite has a picnic table, lawn chairs, a hammock, and a fire pit. There is a porta-potty at the front of the property and we REALLY appreciated the garden shower to wash off after a day at the beach! Navarre Pier and beach was less than a 15 minute drive from the campsite. It was a perfect affordable camping option with some nice added amenities. Thank you Jennifer and Hilary!
