You can get to all of these activities in 3 miles with no traffic by turning left out of our driveway and driving west on Flagstaff Road to Jim Thorpe. We offer hiking and mountain biking trails on our property and a variety of camping opportunities for parties with tents, campers, overlanders, and RVs. Our campsites are booked on ResNexus.com which does not charge additional booking fees for reservations made at our campground.

We have shared our property with hikers, bikers, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts since day one. Our campground started with only 6 campsites, but with great reviews, we continue growing and have recently received the approvals to become one of the premier camping and outdoor resort destinations in the Eastern United States. Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill.
We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more.

- Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.**

Our property consists of 20 acres of the beautiful Blue Mountain. At the Lookout you can see for 40 Miles across the valley below. With views from Allentown, Lyons and Reading. The area with the view is a shared area for both sites. Feel free to use the fire ring while you sit and watch the evening sky. It is breathtaking at night.
At the bottom of the mountain there is a Gunclub with a shooting range and you will hear shooting from the property. Please note it is far away and there is no danger
Our property is mostly the mountain side. But with an area that is flat for tent camping. The property is close to Route 309 but there is a camping area away from the road. Our land is next to the road and you will hear some road noise.
We are next to National Parks land which also consists of the Appalachian Trail and also against the Pennsylvania Game Lands. You can walk up the street or trail to Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant. Leaser lake is a short drive if you like fishing or kayaking. The Wanamakers Store is a unique place to visit with amazing sandwiches. The Wanamakers and Kemton railroad is close by for a weekend train ride. Bear Rock Junction is close by for mini golf and ice cream. Eight Oaks Distillery is only a few minutes away. Several wineries and antique shops as well.
You may also see Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers come thru our property to stay at the hostel. Please welcome our hikers as they come to rest their weary bodies. Welcome to the Lookout. We have made many improvements to our land but also try to maintain the beauty it is. We plan to keep upgrading our property.
We plan to use the land for Recreational activites. We have a Hiker Hostel in the Building. The Building was previously the Blue Mountain Lookout Restaurant but has been neglected for approximately 20 years. We are trying to restore the property to bring it back to life.

A peaceful riverfront nature retreat on the pristine Upper Delaware. Just five sites on 10 acres with a max of four people per site. Easy, private river access to swim, wade, fish, fly fish and hand launch small boats such as rafts, tubes, kayaks and canoes. Boat or float from points upriver and end up back at camp for sunset. Local outfitters provide guided fishing/boating trips and shuttle service.
Spectacular riverfront location features regular eagle sightings and a thriving wild trout population that draws anglers from all over the world. Campsites are nestled throughout a shaded grove of mature hardwood trees. For some sun, hang out at the riverfront "beach" for BBQ, swimming and boat launch.
Amenities: Each site has a large mulched area, a picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. There is a clean port-a-potty bathroom by the parking area, serviced every Friday. Garbage is pack in, pack out. Firewood is available to purchase by the bundle in advance (see Extras). Bring your own drinking water jugs.
Max occupancy: 4 people per site.; We consider exceptions for up to 6 if you have good HipCamp reviews or for additional kids in the same family. Just shoot us a message.
Well Behaved Dogs: Only at Site 1 (large RV) and Site 5 (Grouse Cove). This is to keep the vibe tranquil and clean. Max 2 dogs per family.
Swimming/river info: Typically calm and shallow near shore. Depth increases up to chest height and current becomes stronger as you walk out toward mid-river. This is a river not a pool or lake. The river is not always safe for swimming after heavy rains and upstream water releases. Life jackets are strongly encouraged even for strong swimmers and are required by the National Park Service for kids 12 and under. Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard.
Boats: Trailered boats can launch at the nearby paved PA Fish and Boat Ramps (we are between Shehawken and Buckingham). Overnight parking for trailered boats is OK in our parking lot. You can also bring canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, or inflatables to hand carry and launch right from camp. The walk to the waterfront is less than 2 minutes from parking down a stone trail.
About Your Hosts: We are two nature-loving families with a 10+ year connection to the area. Our vision is a friendly, peaceful, low-density campground where friendships are made for a lifetime. We're hosting campers who are passionate about enjoying, conserving, and improving this incredible ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.
Location: You'll be at the edge of the Western Catskills just below the convergence of the East and West branches. Only 5 minutes to NY-17 in Hancock, NY; 35 miles to Bethel Woods; 30 minutes to Honesdale, PA or Narrowsburg, NY. Just minutes from many of the area's elite summer camps, PA state game lands, and prime fishing spots.
Liability Waiver: Guests will receive a waiver to e-sign before arrival. Please read and sign it before occupying your site to acknowledge you agree to the campsite rules and important safety info.
Events and Rental House: If you're looking to host an event such as a wellness retreat, micro-wedding, family reunion, etc. there's an adjacent riverfront rental house and 2 acre lawn. The house is available to rent individually or as part of a full property buy-out that can host ~50 guests. Message us for info!
Note: there is no public river access from this location. Every guest on this property must be registered and we have a max occupancy per site and overall.

Beautiful, secluded property in Jim Thorpe, PA. Scott got our crew all settled in and gave us a thorough overview of the site, the land and what not to miss—the amazing waterfalls on the property. Multiple marked hiking trails on the property offered various levels for your hike.
We set up camp and started to explore. There’s a rushing stream running at the bottom of the site that was almost a trail of its own for the teenagers with us as they bounded rock to rock downstream. The site itself is not a true drive in as we had to leave our cars at the to pad and walk gear down. Like most campers, we have our own gear, but Scott and Tina had most of what we needed right there on site.
We trekked to the waterfalls the next day which were less than a 1/4 mile away. The falls were beautiful, the water was cold , and there were plenty of photo ops and decks to relax and watch/listen to the Bear Creek Falls. The rope bridge and trails near the falls were challenging enough to make a morning of it.
Or next hike later that day was on Scotts Scoot which took us on a memorable encounter with a large black bear. My Doberman didn’t know if she was looking at another dog or not. At about 300 lbs +, the black bear ambled away as my dog looked at me wondering what she just saw. My daughter and her friends were excited at the encounter.
Jim Thorpe for ice cream (and a beer at Molly Maguire’s) rounded out our day.
Scott was attentive and kind as a good host should be.

The privacy! The views! We’ve been to a ton of campgrounds and this is by far the best ever if you want sites that are spread apart, natural stone fire pits, picnic table, incredible views. We (2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) had an amazing time camping at The Dam House At Beaver Pond! The location is beautiful and the camp has nearly everything you might need! The kids caught (and released) all types of fish, including some nice sized bass and a very first muskie! Pro tip- pack fish soap, a sponge, some towels and linens/pillows for the cots. The main bed was super comfy, with nice linens.
Brendan was really accommodating and even offered to let us check in a day early due to the pending rain storm. He answered all of our questions ahead of time and greeted us upon arrival. Even though we live super close, we certainly will be back.

I love the little homemade outhouse is right there. It is a nice site close to the pond. But it is close to the road so you do hear cars, which doesn't bother me. The peacocks across the street are louder down that close. The site itself is beautiful.

Beautiful property. Camp sites are spaced out, very peaceful and scenic. Tom was also a very accommodating host. My only complaint is that we didn’t book more days there. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

The campground was beautiful, porta johns were clean, the views were amazing. For site 10 I would highly recommend bringing a canopy, there is no shade at all but overall was an amazing time.

This campsite is beautifully maintained. The owner seems always to be onsite making sure people have the firewood they need, cleaning up, or otherwise helping out the campers. The views from almost every campsite are gorgeous, and well-maintained portapotties are scattered throughout so nobody has to walk very far to a bathroom. Some sites are quite exposed, while others have a bit more privacy. This campsite is at the top of a hill (hence the hundred mile view) so it’s quite breezy and windy — that means almost no bugs, but it does make it quite cold at night, so bring your sweatshirts, even in the summer!

Such a wonderful weekend! The sites are a little uneven, rocky, and close together. HOWEVER, none of that deterred from an awesome weekend.!!! There is an onsite winery with wines that are quite good. Firewood is ordered and delivered to your site at reasonable prices for the large bags. Flushable portapoties close by, and large trash cans provided at each site. If it’s amenities you’re looking for, probably not for you. Perfect for me because it keeps things quiet and not overly busy. For minimalist, old-school camping it was perfect. The views are amazing. It gets a bit windy at times but in warm weather it’s welcome. It was quiet with no unwelcome visitors, human or critters. No bugs when we were there. We were fortunate to have great neighbors on both sides. There will definitely be repeat visits! Loved it.

Cranberry Run Campground exceeded all of our expectations! The grounds are beautifully maintained, and this is by far the cleanest campsite I have ever experienced. Even the restrooms were immaculate and convenient to access. We loved our site - it was elevated, private, and spacious enough to hold multiple tents and cars without feeling crowded. To top it off, the host surprised everyone with a complimentary Father’s Day brunch. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We are so happy we chose to stay here!
