Site 3 Bills Base Camp, located high up in the woods.

Sites 3-4-5-6-7 are remote wooded campsites. Accessible by foot only & upon request a free shuttle of your camping gear. MUST arrive before 8pm when booking these remote sites.
Bordering the National Forest, so hiking is abundant & encouraged. Far from the city is ideal for star gazing & amazing photo ops. There is a year round freshwater spring flowing nearby.

Hummingbird Hollow Outdoors is a 501c3 not for profit Farm Animal Sanctuary. You will be able to camp with the horses, goats, potbellied pigs and more. We open up our farm so that people can enjoy the outdoors, animals and nature, and the animals can enjoy people! We are a sanctuary for all creatures on earth, including humans.
You can even claim the cost of your stay on your taxes! All proceeds go to the care of the animals.

Three crystal clear creeks to swim, wade, hunt rocks, or just relax. We have several tent sites right on the creeks and RV sites close for just a short walk for swimming fun.
Close to Mark Twain National Forest, for hiking Rocky Creek trail Head, Blue Springs trail to Rocky Falls, Black River and the Current for floating, Kayaking or fishing. Clearwater Lake for boat rentals or Jet skies. Sites to see, Blue Springs, Big Springs Johnson Shut Inns, Elephant Rock, Rocky Falls, and many state parks to explore.
We are also only three miles from the town of Ellington, MO for your shopping needs, several restaurants and antiquing.

The two campsites are very well maintained and appointed. Our class B+ negotiated the roads and site without issue. Hobbit Hollow sits on a perch above the Big Piney. The electric, water, and sewer hookups we're convenient. As were the various bbq pits and smokers. A new restroom was installed next to an outdoor shower and several sinks. We watched deer, geese, and ducks as the sun set. The river bluffs are towering. Access to the river is a short walk, rivers do change. Caught several smallies. This is a very private and quiet camping spot. Kate was easy to communicate with. Firewood was available for purchase. Nice place.

I love being at Hawks bluff campground it's a home away from home. Beautiful country setting with amazing jersey and agate as well as Chrystal. They have the most amazing water as well as the hot showers

This place is just so beautiful and this time we got to experience Amidon at dawn and without other people! Fall time is so amazing there! The night sky there is like no where else. Watching the trees turn while we were there was absolutely magical! I hope to get to come back in October! This place feels so peaceful and its a reset for my soul every time! I am so grateful for Harley and his beautiful property!

I love coming here. I found this place during Covid or right before, and I keep coming back. The animals are so fun and free roaming so not a dull moment, it’s the best. But also, Susan is so helpful and nice. When my car battery died on the property (TWICE!) she kindly came and fixed it up for me. I’ll be coming here as long as I can :)

2 nights at Ozarks Piney Bend Riverfront
What do we say about this location? First we gush on the Host Lacey. Great communication with Host! Lacey made us comfortable right away. We were made aware about water levels and water changes. When we arrive everything was there. When the lights go out, the property comes alive with hundreds of lights. The light highlights the windows of the cabin goving it a rustic oil lantern appearance. My wife and I sat under the awning and watched the flow of the crystal clear waters. I would suggest renting the entire property for larger parties since the campsites path within each other.

My partner and I stayed a few days at Hummingbird Hollow and had such a nice time! We loved seeing the pigs running around, petting the horses and goats, and even befriending a couple very cute kittens! The site was nice with a fire pit and picnic table, and during the days we checked out St. Clair, Union, and Washington. Susan was always very responsive, and we would definitely stay again ^^

Group trip
This location was great for a late summer trip. We stayed here mid September, and couldn't have had a better trip. The pool was still open, which was good when it reached 100°. We brought our own golf balls for the mini golf, and just didn't play hole 18, since it collects the balls. The pool was mostly empty, so almost like having a private pool. We used the basketball court and they had 2 balls available. They had 2 balls on the volleyball court as well. We didn't ride the paddle boats but that'll be for our next trip. I would definitely recommend if you've got kids. Plenty of things to do.

We had the best time at Lady Asha! We celebrated our 1 year old’s birthday here and she absolutely LOVED it. I love what you can explore here and the vibes are impeccable! It felt like our own little private escape, especially since we didn’t have to be near other people. Would totally recommend staying here because we might come again for her next birthday!!

It's an a amazing place to go jersey and agate hunting. They have all kinds of stuff to do here you can go fishing and swimming in the pond or go to the fresh spring Creek to swim and agate hunting. They have Bell tents to rent a big beautiful bus. They recently got a 50s theme camper

Weekend Trip to Lakeside Tipi Retreat
What an amazing location!! my girlfriend and I took a weekend vacation to this spot and it was breathtaking. Between the amazing tipi, the unreal calmness of the environment, the friendliness of not only the host, but the dogs that came and greeted us multiple times it was truly an amazing place to be.

I recently stayed at this Campground in a dispersed camping site. It was a hot few days that I was there and being able to camp in the trees where there was plenty of shade was a lifesaver. The road along the side of the campground leads down to a creek bottom. The creek allows for the opportunity of swimming on hot day. Lots of hiking available as well. The shower facility was excellent and the separate restrooms were clean.

This was a really awesome, quiet RV spot nestled in the trees with water and electric hookups. The hosts were great and the fact that it's on a working farm adds an extra vibe that makes the stay even more enjoyable.
