The total property area is 30 acres with rarely any traffic on the country road. 209 and 112 are premier sites with limited availability.

Spend your days mountain biking, hiking, fishing and watching wildlife on a private ranch in the Ozark Mountains, less than a quarter mile from the Mark Twain National Forest. Less than five miles from Indian Trail State Forest (Indian Trail Conservation Area) with beautiful Blackwell Lake. Canoeing and kayaking are less than an hour away (Meramec River, Current River and Jacks Fork River), as well as trout fishing at scenic Meramec Spring Park or Montauk State Park. Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water.
Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4)
We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Full hook up (water/elec/sewer/trash) located on County Road Harner Holler in Van Buren, Missouri. A total of 4 RV/tent sites are on the property. Sites listed are 136A and 136 B, which are on a shared acre. The other two sites are approximately 50 yards away, 209 Harner Hollow being one of these sites and 112 Harner Hollow. The total property area is 30 acres with rarely any traffic on the country road. 209 and 112 are premier sites with limited availability.
Note: A large Class A RV would not be able to make the curve in the county road.

Hike peaceful trails, exploring the wooded hills until you find the perfect spot for your tent. If you select a spot near the clearing, you will have access to the picnic table and fire circle. Spend your days mountain biking, hiking, fishing and watching wildlife on a private ranch in the Ozark Mountains, less than a quarter mile from the Mark Twain National Forest. Less than five miles from Indian Trail State Forest (Indian Trail Conservation Area) with beautiful Blackwell Lake. Rather you're after solitude or sport, this area has you covered. Kayak, canoe, and shuttle rental, service is available at hufstedlers.com and is a short 11.5 mile drive. Beautiful eleven point river offers blue, red, and white ribbon, spring fed trout/walleye water. If you're looking to float the river, be sure to research the many springs on the way down your trip and the historic mill communities that once flourished there. These are perfect opportunities to take a break, eat a meal, and explore the area. Most also will have public bathrooms. Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water.
Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4)
We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Bring your SXS's for days of backroad riding that spans 4 counties (Perry, Ste Genevieve, Madison, and Bollinger). Camp at our beautiful private swimming hole at the edge of Joachim Creek. Our campsite includes a community picnic table, hammocks along the tree line and a huge communal fire pit. We have four individual camp sites in total, each with their own fire ring. Bring your fishing poles, water shoes and camp chairs!
We are a working farm that grows produce, raises dairy goats, pasture raised pigs, peacocks, chickens and more! And while you may hear a rooster crow in the morning, you'll be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of farm life.
NEW THIS YEAR: We have a farm store that is stocked with seasonal produce, meat (frozen), eggs and other value added products as well as camping incidentals in case you forgot anything while you were packing! Farm store is not located at the swimming hole, but is located at the main farm.

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Sinking Creek Ranch, and it was the perfect family getaway. We stayed in the Maple Haven yurt, and it was impressively spacious for the four of us.
One of the best parts was the "glamping" convenience—walking into a tent with the beds already made and ready to go was such a luxury. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the portable AC/heat unit did a great job keeping us cozy during the chilly nights and cool during the warmer days. Having a fridge, microwave, and Keurig right inside made the mornings so much easier with kids.
The vibe here is pure quiet seclusion. Our two young boys had a blast playing in the creek (which was about ankle-deep near the bathhouse and knee-deep a bit further down), which gave my wife and me some much-appreciated quality time together.
The hosts truly went above and beyond. They were extremely helpful, even lending me a tool I’d forgotten at home so I could remove my car's luggage carrier. Their local recommendations were spot on—they pointed us toward a great fishing hole and a perfect swimming spot just 10 minutes down the road.
The absolute highlight: The first night under the stars. The sky is incredibly dark out there, and seeing that many stars reminded me of growing up in the country. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped escape, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful secluded camping, this place offers showers and all sorts of activities if you’re interested in that. While we didn’t do any extra activities the campsite alone had a wonderful view over the lake. We brought our own kayaks, but if need you can rent those at the office too! The fishing was absolutely fantastic. I caught more fish than I did all last summer in one trip. They’ll bite anything but I had the most luck on a swirl tail. We will definitely be back!

I loved so much about Jonathans land. Every employee was extremely helpful and kind. All the farm animals were well kept, land was extremely clean. Best campsite showerhouse ive ever experienced. Jonathan guided our first horseback ride and was so knowledgeable and patient. The puppies were a special happy bonus and my kids favorite part! We will come back during the summer when all the extra amenities are opened. I highly recommend this place, and it deserves all the positivity and blessings possible.

Had a great and relaxing time. There are lots of sites but going mid march the cabins were in use but only 2-3 sites so very solo. Quite open. But there a secluded site. Bathrooms and showers available. My dog enjoyed it too. Sandy made sure we had what we needed and all staff were friendly.

What a perfect getaway! From the calming sounds of the creek just across the yurt to the breathtaking sight of stars and horses, it’s clear this land is deeply cared for and truly loved. The location offers everything you could need, whether you’re visiting in the off season or peak season, and the owners strike the perfect balance of being helpful while still giving you space to relax. The yurt, cooking amenities, and outdoor areas were spotless and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
