Whether you're looking to relax or embark on an adventure, there’s plenty to do nearby—mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and more! As the sun sets, solar lights and propane fire pits create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Tents are only allowed with an Rv/trailer…We now have 30 amp RV power…Our site is designed for couples and adventurous travelers, offering stunning views of Lake Chelan, the Columbia River, and the wine valley. It features a stone fire pit with a propane insert (bring your propane tank from home or add a full tank of propane when booking to use while you are here), a couple's bench for enjoying picturesque views and sunsets, and solar lights for an atmospheric ambiance at night.Up top there is room to park your RV/travel trailer and Below the lookout area, there is parking available for 4wd adventure vans, truck campers, teardrop campers, rooftop tents and overland vehicles .The site provides an 30amp rv power cord and a water spigot, It is conveniently located only 10 minutes from Beebee Park on the Columbia River and 20 minutes from downtown Lake Chelan and the Chelan Wine Valley. Special note: It does get windy up here so plan for that just in case.This site is about 200 feet from our house, it’s just us and two dogs up here(don't worry, we're cool!). It offers a stunning view of the lake and sits at a lower elevation, providing ample privacy and plenty of space all to yourself. If you would like a dog play date just let us know 🐾

It's a spacious camping spot with a large ponderosa pine tree providing shade. Serenity with a view!

Can not beat the view here at Cowboy Camp! Plenty of space for everyone. So quiet and serene. Super clean and they provided so many extras like cookies! Could not be happier with Chris, Jennifer, and their place. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful property and lovely hosts

We had an amazing time camping here. The property is beautiful with big sweeping views. The campground is secluded and quiet with plenty of space for the trailer. The campground hosts were very welcoming and there were sweet little touches including homemade cookies waiting for us at the site. 10/10 would stay here again!

Picturesque & private oasis

We loved staying at the sunset chelan spot at Chris’s & Jennifer’s land. The view was amazing and the surroundings were so peaceful. We appreciated how clean the site was and easy to hook up too. Thank you for the awesome memories & our family will definitely be back!

Phenomenal view at Sasquatch Vista

The Sasquatch Vista was phenomenal. The views were breath taking and it was wonderfully secluded yet still within 20 to 30 mins to Chelan as well as being close to the river park. Chris and Jennifer were wonderful hosts, Chris even making sure we were settled in as well as giving tips for parking in chelan and other activities in the area. Highly recomend this spot and definitely see myself returning here!

Sunset View & Gracious Hosts

Chris and Jennifer's HipCamp is fabulous!! The view at their Sunset spot is gorgeous! They have done such a great job with a seating area to watch the sun set (even had yummy cookies for us!) and perfect lighting. The stars are on full display at night, and we had a great dear spotting. Chris and Jennifer were super gracious as we maneuvered our Bean teardrop into the spot. They are dog lovers which was great and allowed our dog to be off leash. Highly recommend!!!

Camp With A View!

What an amazing view! Breathtaking. Chris and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. We are new trailer owners and Chris was easy to approach and helpful with some of the issues we ran into. We went in early Spring, so the wind was pretty fierce. But don’t let the wind or weather deter you- just bring an extra layer and don’t miss this view.

Stunning View

What a beautiful view! Chris and Jennifer have done a wonderful job setting it up and the fire pit area is awesome. We had great communication with them and had a great time. Our site was pretty close to their house but they were gone so it didn’t matter at all. The cookies were delicious!

Stunning views of Lake Chelan and the Columbia River, and mountains. The welcome cookies were too good! Chris and Jennifer were so great, and even helped us when we had a little problem with our new trailer. I recommend bringing leveling blocks, just because we wanted to orient our trailer for the view and we had to put it in a slightly unusual spot.

~ Stunning Mountain View

This is a fantastic dry campsite with a stunning mountain view. The site is clean and very private. The host, who was incredibly welcoming, even provided treats for our pups and homemade cookies. As noted, it is a dry campsite, so be sure to bring all your essentials. The midday temperatures were quite warm, but it got breezy in the evening. I would definitely stay here again!

Great overlook spot

Incredible view and good privacy. The spot overlooks the hills around Chelan, and although you can’t see the water, we enjoyed an epic sunset and sunrise. The fire pit was a nice addition and the cookies... yum!!

Amazing view of Lake Chelan!

What a view!!!! I was so happy to be able to book this Sunset site for our anniversary campout. We are going on a 2 month trip soon so I had a lot of gear to test out. It was a great test because one must bring one's own toilet and water. I highly recommend a luggable loo - lid fits on a 5 gal bucket and there are many options for waste containment. Super easy! It was very windy and it rained in the night which I was glad for because I could see what i need to fix and change. Anyhow.... HIGHLY recommend this hipcamp. Bonus! The cookies in the little welcome pack were delicious- the dog treats were appreciated to by our pups and the stickers are perfect. 10/10

Beautiful view!

Chris was a great host and provided very clear directions to the site. He set up water and electric so it was ready upon our arrival. There's an adorable gas firepit with cute outdoor furniture overlooking the river and Lake Chelan. It's a beautiful view!

Beautiful setting! Really enjoyed our stay here - gorgeous views and wonderful stargazing. Bring a sun canopy to go over the table if possible, it can get quite hot, but the big tree added a lot of shade as well.

This was a great spot, the views were incredible! We really enjoyed the solitude of this spot. It wasn’t hard to find at all, the hosts gave us really clear directions. We drove our 30ft class C up there and didn’t have much trouble leveling it at this spot. Overall a great experience.
