River Camp
My daughter had a long weekend, we wanted a place where we could fish. Angela was gracious understanding of our scheduling issues and made a special trip out to make our accomodations more comfortable. I have really bad allergies and there is a lot of scotch broom, luckily it's still winter. We had a fire next to the river and had a very relaxing time.

Angela’s place is nice and secluded away from the freeway with steps away from the Cowlitz river we even lucked with a few Salmon this morning. The porta potty was cleaned and stocked with fresh toilet paper and there is a garbage can set at the campsite which is always plus. Angela was an exceptional host very nice and upbeat and is only 10 mins away if you need more firewood or anything for the campsite.

Awesome spot to camp with direct private trail to river. Big spot with lined trash can provided. Beautiful and clean picnic tables. Smooth gravel to drive and walk on. Clean porta potty. And a exceptionally wonderful host! Angela was gracious and welcoming. It was very helpful they escort you to the spots. Especially if you have a habit of getting to camp at night time! I appreciate her patience. Aaaand it's a great fishing spot too! Our family and I loved camping here. Very kid and dog friendly. Although mind the river! The current is faster than expected. Not a lazy river, but there is still lots of fun to do! I highly recommend camping here for families. Thank you!!

Nice camp near town
Angela was very responsive and met us at the gate promptly to lead us to our site. The road was a little rough. In wetter weather our little Honda Fit might not have made it. The site was surrounded by trees and very private. Thanks to other reviews mentioning the river rock ground cover, we upgraded our camping pad to a deeper air-filled one and slept great! The river was just steps away and lots of black berries. The porta potties were clean and well-maintained. There are also newer picnic benches at the sites so we were pleasantly surprised by that. We brought our bikes and rode to a nearby pump track one afternoon. The kids had a blast!

Great river access with our own trail to a beach. Sites were far away from others. Quiet area.
