Hi, We are Glen and Lisa Oostema. The proud owners of Oostema Farmstead
We have been married for 35 years; we have two grown children and one grandson, Dawson; you may meet on the property as his favorite place to be is with Nana and Pops.
We are retired Dairy Farmers. We left this industry about 15 years ago after 12 years on the dairy, where Glen was raised as a child. We took over his parents’ dairy of 30 years.
We had the opportunity to sell the dairy, and we did. We moved to our current property, which is 117 acres. We have raspberries and field crops that surround the Farmstead. You will also find our herd of cattle as we raise Grass-

In 2016, we opened our first Farmhouse Apartment listing. Since then, we have added a Tiny Farmhouse and a small intimate campground, making the most of our fantastic, secluded, and peaceful location in Whatcom County.
We have loved sharing our home, and the Farmstead with many guests, turned friends, from all around the world! It is indeed our priority to provide a comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful space for you. But most importantly, we hope you will find rest and relaxation close to nature with a glimpse into a slow living pace, and we hope to share that experience with you through your stay.
If you have difficulty with anything, do not hesitate to let us know, and we will be more than happy to help you.
