Maple Meadow as described by campers:
"romantic couple's getaway"
"tent camper paradise"
"So many deeeeeeeeeer! :)"
"A place to write your novel"
"My new favorite camping spot"
At the very least, you will come here to reconnect with Nature and you will leave here with a stronger sense of why we must protect this planet we call home.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING:
NO HOOKUPS- NO SEWAGE, NO WATER, NO ELECTRIC, NO WIFI*
Maple Meadow is WILD Land- which means there is tall old growth grass, big trees, and a wide variety of wildlife critters including, but not limited to: deer, bunnies, frogs, birds, and slugs. Please DO NOT expect an expertly manicured property, but I do my best to keep the site maintained from afar.
Google Maps should take you right to the address (provided upon booking) and the roads to and from Maple Meadow are well paved. There is a beautiful locally crafted entrance gate that will tell you that you have arrived (combination code provided upon booking.) Across the way is nothing but Christmas trees as far as the eye can see.
Once inside Maple Meadow, most vehicles should be able to navigate the driveway with ease. It is 300 feet in length by 10 feet wide, well-paved gravel and contains a loop to make entry and exit a breeze. PLEASE NO RVs larger than 20 feet! I've tried to allow larger in the past, but it seems small to medium travel trailers and RVs under 20 feet are the best fit for this site.
For tent campers and family picnics there is an incredible 12x12 foot cedar platform with wheelchair accessible ramp and waterproof tarp cover to protect you from the rain. PLEASE DON'T HANG YOUR HAMMOCK ON THE POLES :)
Large Bonfire Pit with cover! Bring your own chairs and firewood! Enjoy roasting your marshmallows (responsibly please!).
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT PLEASE👏
💩 Currently, there is NO TOILET on the land. This means you will have one of 3 options: use your own self contained toilet, use a bag and pack it up with you, use the local Starbucks restroom (25 min away), or you may dig a hole on the far end of the property if needed (worst case scenario though please.)
*Although there is no WIFI- I have Verizon and get 2-3 bars on the property. I am not sure about other carriers. This is a strong enough signal for Netflix watching and playing your favorite Spotify playlists.
Please do not go further than the "no trespassing" sign on the back portion of the property. It is hard to miss since it is lit by solar lights. My neighbor had issues with people hiking into his land, so please do not go past the boundaries to ensure I can continue having campers stay in this beautiful natural space.
True Privacy at Last...You will have the entire property to yourself as I will only offer this site to one person/group. I do this because I care deeply about you having a good time connecting with nature. 🌲
Lastly, it is important to note that currently I live in California, so I will not be physically present on the land. If you have any difficulties you can call my cell or text me, which will be provided upon booking! ☎️
If you have any questions please message me. Thanks for considering staying at Maple Meadow. I hope you enjoy your experience!
