There was originally a camper parked here with a roof over it while the main house was built back in th 1970s. When the home was finished the camper was moved out and it was turned into the cabin. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds. Additional bedding can be furnished when needed. Included in cabin is a frig, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs. And a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience.Learn more about this land:Country cabin on the treeline at the base of O'tool mt. Across the street from Lk. Roosevelt. Includes bunk beds, frig, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dining table, small closet, firepit with firewood and horseshoe pits with shoes. One mile to boat launch. Ten miles to nearest loaf of bread. Close to logging roads. you will have aprox. one acre to yourself. Quiet and secluded, but we are close by if ever there is anything you need.

“The Lazy C; Where Doing Nothing is OK" is a rustic but modern private home located on 20 beautiful acres near Wauconda, WA. Nestled between Tonasket and Republic, we welcome visitors to our beautiful and well appointed mini RV Park with two 50 amp full hook up sites that include Wi-Fi. We love the area and are eager to share the hidden gems that abound here. We will be happy to recommend the finest day drives in the region as well as other adventure advice for our area.
The Lazy C does not have cell service. The closest cell service can be obtained 20 miles away in either the town of Tonasket or Republic.
That said, wi-fi calling on most cell phones work just fine.

We're nestled in the pines, just off the highway. Our property is on a deeded piece of land within the Spokane Indian Reservation. We are 5 miles from Lake Roosevelt and the Fort Spokane boat launch. Lake Roosevelt is known for its excellent fishing, and is the only lake in Washington state that contains walleye! A small motel was built on this property back in 1998 and is consistently complemented on it's clean rooms and peaceful setting. Our RV camp is rustic & peaceful with only natural vegetation (no pads), and each spot provides FULL hookups. Be prepared to level your rig. We invite you to come and experience all that Eastern Washington has to offer! Park your rig, set up your table and BBQ, and just relax. Our Ranch is located 15 miles north of Republic, WA in Ferry County. Just a scenic 30-minute drive further north is the Canadian border crossing at Danville/Grand Forks, BC.
We love hosting Hipcampers! A Resource Book is available to borrow offering ideas for local recreation. We are happy to help make your stay at our Ranch special!
On the day of your booking, we will reach out as to your ETA. We always greet and escort you to your site, so please arrive as close to Check-In time as possible. If you will be delayed, please be courteous of our time and let us know by calling our landline: 509-775-0204.
NOTE: It is 3 1/2 miles on a dirt county road to reach the Ranch; at various times of the year it is quite bumpy (and dusty)!
If you have questions about the campsites please let us know. If all sites are booked, contact us anyway- we may be able to create a spot just for you! We have room to grow but are doing it slowly.
Each campsite is very private, but the sounds of neighbors down in the valley below do travel during the day. This is also a working Ranch so please be aware that there are sounds associated with our activities (although far above the campsites)- the sheep, pigs, and goats get excited at feeding time; the dogs bark while doing their jobs sometimes during the night; the rooster announces the break of dawn. However, none of that detracts too much from the soothing music of the forest!
~ Take in the native flora and fauna on our self-guided "Woodland Walk".
~ The Ranch is perfect for bird watching and stargazing!
~ The Ranch borders State Land and is within 1 mile of the Colville National Forest which means endless miles of picturesque hiking and wildlife viewing! The Ferry County Rail Trail is a must-do.
~ Swimming, fishing, boating, and water skiing are only 15 minutes away at Curlew Lake State Park and the Kettle River.
~ One bundle of firewood, 15 gallons of potable water, and a compost toilet are included with your stay. BYOTP though. :)
~ Ranch-grown eggs and organic produce for your meals are seasonally available for purchase.
WILDLIFE: There is a wide range of wildlife around the Ranch- snowshoe hare, grouse, turkey, bobcat, Canada lynx, coyote, cougar, wolf, and black bear. Please use common sense while camping! Always be aware of your surroundings. Keep garbage secure in a vehicle. - There are also ticks in the area!
