We have finally arrived. What has been 20 years of dreaming is coming true before our eyes (and yours) as we grow vegetables and herbs, milk goats, collect chicken and duck eggs, forage for fruit, and care for the land. We hope you can find this land as much of a sanctuary as we do. Pitch your tent in our woods or fields. Access a fire pit if burning is permitted. Fill up water from a hose, fed by our well. Pet a goat. Chase a chicken. Waddle after a duck. Pick any fruits, vegetables or herbs that are in season. The bay is 10 miles, Bellingham is 15 miles, Vancouver (Canada) is 45 miles, and Mt. Baker Ski Area is 60 miles away. The outdoor adventures are endless.Stay on a small family farm with goats, chickens, and ducks.  We also grow vegetables, herbs, and fruits.  Birch Bay is 10 miles, Bellingham is 15 miles, Vancouver (Canada) is 45 miles, and Mt. Baker Ski Area is 60 miles away. The outdoor adventures are endless.

Good Grief Gardens
Beautiful spot to relax amongst the trees. The host was very welcoming and we even go to pick fresh raspberries for breakfast! Would stay again.

Good Grief Gardens
A beautiful garden retreat
We had a wonderful stay at Good Grief Gardens. Bodhana and Ryan helped us get situated in a quiet spot among the trees where we also got plenty of sunshine on our solar panels to charge the batteries. The property is beautiful and we appreciated getting a tour of the gardens, and meeting the goats and chickens (thanks for the fresh eggs!). It was a delightful highlight to see the goats go by on their evening walk. The location is very convenient to Birch Bay State Park and also the Jensen Trail for walking the dogs. Bodhana and Ryan were very quick to respond to any questions we had and helping us with the water. Thank you for a perfect stay - we would love to come back again in the future.
