I loved camping on Jim’s farm. We had a 17 foot campervan and it fit with lots of extra space. Pulled up near firepit and had a great few nights. Good view of horses and very quiet area. Potable water pump is very closeby and accessible. Jim is an awesome host, try out Magnolia Winery next door for some relaxing drinks and quiet serene views. Note that Jim has a few dogs (I think 3) on the property who roam around. 2 of them avoided us and spied from afar but the black lab was hilarious and friendly, loves to play fetch.

Amazing view quiet place and Jim is very kind and a welcoming host.
If you like wine, you will be served because there are plenty of wineyards nearby. Must be very beautiful during fall!

This is a great site for a weekend away from the NoVA rush. Jim is a great and very personable host, who welcomed us on arrival and checked in to see how we were doing. We had four high energy boys with us but the open space and fresh air gave them a lot to do to burn that off. The toilet was clean im and in good shape, and the fire ring worked out great. We’ll definitely be keeping this site in mind the next time we’re planning a similar trip.

Safe, easy, good caretaker. Just needed to stop in for a night and Jim was more than happy to give us a last minute spot.
