One loft bedroom, huge bathroom with a walk in shower and a soaking bathtub, while looking at a gorgeous creek, 20 ft away. A hot tub sits on the rear ground level deck. Kitchen with two coffee makers, microwave, full size refridge stovetop, air fryer, toaster oven and a kettle. This yurt is great for a couple or a couple with a small child, I can provide a cot. We have a high chair and playpen. The yurt faces the creek, and a rock wall on the other side making this property very private except for our cabin on the same property. It is fenced with split rail fencing and has a solar powered gate, with a gate fob provided. This is a safe, beautiful area to visit nearby Floyd, a nearby kayak rental shuttle service, breweries, a meadery 2 miles away, and many other unique finds. Beautiful Mountain View’s and backwoods drive. A unique wool farm is just down the dirt road with a cash only roadside stand.The Riverside yurt sits thirty feet from the river bank at low water and the river has been just down below the high deck, At high water. We are located twenty minutes from the must see, Floyd, Virginia! It’s just a fun, hippie town. We offer a side by side for an additional fee if you are interested. There is a local canoe/ kayak rental/shuttle business, a meadery two and a half miles away, several breweries, distilleries and wineries. The Blue Ridge Parkway is ten minutes away. Come enjoy trout fishing in the stocked waters, sitting and wading in this cold mountain water, and our drive is motorcycle safe. Our cabin is on the same fenced property but there’s a good space between and total privacy on the rear deck of the yurt. We have a generator at the yurt, two wells with great quality drinking water, fruit trees, and a solar powered entrance gate with a provided fob.

Magical Riverside Yurt

This was our first yurt experience and it was wonderful! It was a close to perfect honeymoon. The view was amazing and peaceful next to the stream. Happy place! We rented the side by side for a day, we went exploring and fishing. JoDee was a great hostess and we didn't have any issues with our time there. If you want a great spot to decompress from the stress of your beautiful mess, this is the place!

Magical yurt stay

Thank you so much Jodee! This was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. We loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the birds and the stream. The hot tub is amazing and so is the giant bathtub. Everything was spottless, cozy, and perfect. Cute towns nearby with plenty of restaurants, beautiful hikes nearby. We can't wait to come back<3

Magical Riverside Yurt

We absolutely loved our stay here. The weather was cold and very windy, but the yurt was warm inside and you never felt a draft. Renting the side by side was so fun and the dirt roads around the area had beautiful views and the directions jodee left were great. Going into Floyd for the Friday night jamboree at the country store was a fun experience. Our family can't wait to come back!

Magical Girls Weekend getaway!

I loved loved loved our stay at the Yurt! We enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the crackling pellet furnace. The yurt has every creature comfort you could ever need and we would absolutely come back again!

Magical Riverside Yurt

Awesome yurt experience!

My friend and I loved staying at the magical riverside yurt! The yurt was so cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of our favorite features were the hot tub and wood burning stove. The surroundings are so serene, it was lovely to hear the river, birds and all the sounds of nature. Definitely recommend visiting the nearby town of Floyd and also going in a hike! Jodee was an awesome host, I would definitely stay here again!

Magical Riverside Yurt

Beautiful land with amazing fun. We caught so many small fish in the creek, and my four year old had all the room in the world to run around. The yurt was cozy and we loved the loft area. Definitely recommend the hot tub under the stars
