Fantastic stay! Would stay again!
We had a fantastic stay! We would highly recommend to anyone looking to see a clear starry sky. We greatly enjoyed watching the sunset and rise. It was a beautiful place, and we happened to glimpse several woodpeckers and cardinals bright and early.

Place was great! Directions were easy to follow. Would definitely go back again. Host was best host we have ever had. Our car broke down and he refunded our campsite and offered a free night to stay. Overall great. Fire pit was great and if dry there is plenty of space.

Nice spot with a great view. Definitely a little rough of a drive. My outback made it pretty easily so as long as you at least have awd you should be ok. Bring a tarp to lay on ground as it can be pretty muddy. Very quiet and peaceful. Host was good about giving clear instructions/directions.

Great site! 4wd definitely needed but a worthwhile little off-roading to get to the site. Very peaceful and private.

The site was amazing! Very quiet and tranquil, with just enough space on the side of the mountain. Definitely 4wd needed on the way up, but makes it for a fun adventure. Thanks again!

Solitude in Virginia
Quiet clear cut campsite with access to Stanley, Luray and Shenandoah NP. We enjoyed our 3 nights here and would recommend to those seeking a quieter camping experience. Definitely need 4WD to access and remember to bring a camp toilet!
