Awesome views in this part of the country! We did a group campsite and checked out the Nelson 151 route breweries. Would definitely do it again! The group campsites were great and “tucked away” with enough privacy.

Group Site 103
Great campsite…convenient to devils backbone facilities yet also private enough.
This was a great experience. Site 105 is more private because you only have neighbors on one side. It is the closest walk to the brewery. The bathroom and shower facilities are well kept and clean and we did not have to wait much. The staff is friendly and courteous. We may make this a yearly event.

Group Site 103
My dad and I just got home from our trip. We had an amazing time. The spot was beautiful had huge fire pit. We were able to find some wood around the area. We forgot part of our stove but were able to cook on the grill attachment to the fire pit. We cooked dinner and two breakfasts over the fire and everything turned out well. My only complaint is that it was a little far to the bath house. We made do. The bath house was very nice. I had brought my own toilet paper and hand soap but I didn’t need it. It was well appointed. The shower was nice, too. (That you need to bring your own toiletries and towels for) All in all it was a great trip.
This was such a awesome campground!!
First time ever staying and everybody was so helpful and friendly. He had the camp host come and check on us to see how things were. We stayed at the group 105 site and could not have been happier with that pick. It was off all by itself with the other 4 group primitive sites. Sites were huge and you could arrange and set up however you liked. Really loved that having 2 vehicles and 3 tents we had so much room. Loved the bathhouse being close too. Just a quick little walk/or drive around the corner the showers and stalls were so clean as well. Fire ring was huge too and they have wood on site.
We even checked out the restaurant and bar/brewery on site. Everything looked so cool loved the way everything was set up. We will 100% be coming back and do the group site again. Our original plans of going off into the national forest and dispersed camping got canceled so we hated we couldn't do that. But this site the way they are set up really makes you feel like you are still out there disperse camping but with the luxury of a campground being so close. Loved it so much!

Group Site 103
Easy to find. We just pulled in and set-up. Great site that is shaded and very secluded. Easy walk over to Devils Backbone Brewery. It was our first time camping in almost 2 years and it was such a great experience that we were ready to go back the following weekend! We will be back for sure and I recommend this site for families/groups.

Group Site 101
The campsite offers plenty of amenities. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and having the brewery right there was great. My only complaint would be that the site was not nearly as isolated as I thought it would be based on the hip camp description and pictures. The campsites are right on top of one another and this is not ideal for most tent campers.

Site 102 was large and felt private. The bathhouse at the campground is one of the best I’ve seen
Devil's Backbone is a great place for tent & RV camping. My brothers and I go yearly. We enjoy the views of the nearby mountains, the local breweries, the occasional live entertainment, and the clean & friendly environment.
Site 105 specifically is our favorite because it's a corner site & feels much more spacious than other sites we have been to at DB. It is a short walk from the bathhouse & basecamp.

The site was great! Although there were only 4 campers in our group, it provided us with plenty of space to spread out and not feel right on top of the neighbor site and their larger group. Being on site of the brewpub was really nice and the location puts you right in the heart of everything the area has to offer, Although it was a little bit of a distance to the bathhouse, the bathhouse was very clean and accommodating! We will definitely be back!
Great spot. Wooded area plenty of room. Was there for a concert and had a blast. Good beers! Just a great time!
We had a wonderful stay. The bathrooms were clean and the campsite was spacious. It was awesome to explore the surrounding area. Thanks for having us!

My girlfriend found this place last minute and what a gem!
Great little getaway for car camping and it's right on the river. The camp site was clean and our howt Dutch is a awesome dude.
Amazing large spacious sites beautiful view. Only gripe is it is a hike to the bath house
Spacious campsite with trees for hammocks and tarps. Showers and bathrooms were clean and just a short walk from the campsite. We enjoyed live music at the distillery and dinner one night at the brewpub. The Hipcamp team was very responsive. We’ll definitely be back!
Excellent group camping set up. Only one picnic table so if you have eight people I would suggest bringing another table to assist with food prep. Camp fire was perfect and firewood was helpful. Easy walk to restaurant and bar but not too noisy at night. A worthwhile experience, rain or shine.
Love it! Second time there and it’s was great! We will be back soon
I had an awesome time here with my pals. The campsite is tucked away in the trees just on the other side of the grassy meadow. Brewery and bath house is about a 5-10min walk from the site.

Group Site 105
The site felt nice and remote. All 5 of the Hipcamp sites are a little separate from the rest of the campground, and 105 is at the end. It was easy to locate, and it was fun to be able to go over to the brewpub for happy hour. There is a mix of sun and shade at the site, which was perfect for tent placement and stargazing. The only caveat--and I wouldn't say drawback, just something to consider when planning--is that it's also the farthest site from trash and the bath house. We didn't bring a giant water jug for washing dishes, so we ended up driving our dirty dishes to the pump at the bathhouse once a day. You also have a line of sight to the other Hipcamp sites, but that's pretty standard for campgrounds. No one else was there when we were there Monday - Wednesday.
The group sites 100, 101, were beautiful, wooded lots with lots of space. A field very close by made it a perfect spot for family camping with children.
My son and I had an awesome two nights here. A lot of space, great views, amazing hikes within a short drive, and of course, excellent food at the brewpub.
Loved camping at Devil’s Backbone! The Hipcamp sites were larger and more secluded than the other sites, which is exactly what our group preferred. The longer walk to the bath house was worth the privacy. The brewery base camp offered fun entertainment and several food and drink options. We did a few tours and tastings in the area, but it was nice to walk less than 5 minutes from our site to wrap up each night. There was live music Saturday, and the other evenings we played the available yard games. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

Group Site 103
The site was fantastic… spacious and private. There were a lot of trees & lots of shade. No rain for us- so it was perfect. If it rains though, this particular site will be a muddy mess. Site 104 & 105 will be better for rainy camping.
The bath houses are a 3 min walk and were very clean and well kept.
We will stay again!
Beautiful, spacious sites with close proximity to lots of fun venues. They kept the bathhouse clean - which wasn’t easy!
Absolutely an amazing campground. We had a large group of 7 guys in a nice tree-shaded lot that’s walking distance to the brewery and bath house. The entire area was incredibly clean and spaced out. I feel like they can add in more camping lots, but I’m glad they don’t to add some extra privacy. You do have great cellphone service so no need to worry about getting work done or being in touch with friends & family. As always the beer is fantastic and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend anyone to take the opportunity to go camp there. Just make sure to book far in advanced!

This spot was a very peaceful and secluded spot away from other sites (only one neighbor) and was such a short walk to Devil's Backbone Brewery/Restaurant. It was also so spacious!
