Stone and Star is our home and garden with rescue goats and hens we consider companions. Our house built in 1850 on 6 acres in Waterbury Center, Vermont. We are located about 5 miles from the town of Waterbury at Hwy 89, off VT Rt 100, 5 miles from Stowe.
This RV is at flat goatside spot on grass overlooking a forested ravine and brook in an open field set back about 40 feet from our street. Situated next to our goat pen you will find Adirondack chairs and a swing under a giant Ash tree outside your door. The property where we live is in a rural neighborhood on a little-traveled street, though road noise from Vermont Rt. 100 nearby is audible at times.
A fire pit and firewood are available for an evening among the fireflies in the "hollow."

OTHER THINGS to NOTE This is an RV. It is an experience for adventurous people. It's a Minnie Winnie DeLUXE which is way better than camping but it isn't a hotel. It's camping. But with a pretty good bed.
LES TOILETTES de NOMADLIFE
This is an RV that is not connected to hook-ups. There is no running water. We provide plenty of water in containers. If you cook you or want to wash up, you will need to heat water on the stove, like camping.
The toileting system uses waste bags with bio gel. Look them up. Inner bags are prefilled with Bio-Gel waste gelatin powder that solidifies liquid waste and masks odors. Now you know how the real nomads do it.
PETS
Pets are welcome here because we love animals and we know it's difficult to find lodging when you are traveling with them. Please keep your animals leashed. We have an active beaver dam and a historically occupied fox den. You can explore but to walk your dogs you will want to head down the street to a great park with lots of space called Hope Davey.
You are welcome to mingle with the hens or the goats, Ben and Jerry.
Down the street are the town green, Cold Hollow Cider Mill and The Apple Core luncheonette. There's a popular disc golf course called Center Chains at Hope Davey Memorial Park with rec fields, playground and trails for walking dogs.
Waterbury Center State Park is a half-mile away, a great place for a walk, picnic, kayak, and canoe rental or swimming.
We love our neighbors so request that you are quiet folk.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy Vermont but is not remote, is close to coffee, restaurants and shops come on by.
We were farm-curious urban dwellers in Northern California a few years ago in search of the dream. Now here we are.
We are a safe space, treasuring diversity of every kind. In fact, it's really important to us.
We steward a piece of the unceded land of the aboriginal Abenaki who have inhabited this part of New England for thousands of years.
