Maple Grove Camp
Magical stay in the woods!
Our stay at Don’s was a wonderful time!! Don is a very kind and interesting man who has made his land a beautiful place to visit. We came by for a night on a bike trip so we were too exhausted to check out the trails on his property, but from what we did see it was clear Don has thought of everything! Easy to use camp kitchen, great fire pits, solar lights, and we were even able to use an outdoor shower. The pond is beautiful with views of Jay’s Peak behind. This is not a Hipcamp where you’re just in someone’s backyard. You’re close enough to the road, but far enough that it’s very private and you are very much in the woods and in nature. The road up to the house is quite steep/rocky. Keep going until the end of the road and you will be rewarded with these campsites! We got up the road walking our bikes, but the next day Don offered to drive us down, which is very representative of him as a host - very thoughtful and kind! We will treasure our time at Froggy Acres, and hope to come back - will definitely recommend it to any friends!

Creekside Camp
Nature Getaway with the Dog!
The property was beautiful and peaceful.  The craftsmanship on the tented area and enclosed cabin area were safe and functional. Donald as a host went above and beyond. Keeping firewood stocked and always kept in great communication with us. Our fur baby was welcomed with open arms and had so much space and privacy. Lots of land to take a hike on and pretty creeks along the way!

Walk-In site 3-sided Camp Cabin
Don provided a great place for us to stay. Camp was setup with water, solar lights, bug catchers, firewood, a little wood fired cook stove…. Everything exceeded our expectations. Don gave us a full tour of the property and was very generous with his time, he even had extra gear if we had needed it. Our arrival time and group numbers changed a few times and he was very accommodating. Not a negative, but it is important to note the sites are remote, be prepared for a long dirt road, rough but passable with regular vehicles. The sites are in the woods so be prepared for real camping. Don was great and we would definitely go back if we plan another Northern VT motorcycle trip.
