Site 1 - Water Canyon Campground
The campsite is very beautiful and has nice views. There was a very clean porta potty on site along with campfire rings, picnic tables and a charcoal grill. My main complaint is that I couldn’t get ahold of the host and still haven’t heard back. After reading reviews, I was a little concerned about how this would work for us since we truck camp. We had site 1 reserved which truly was beautiful and probably the most private, but for us, it was kind of a pain. The parking spot for another site is right in the way of the long walkway up to campsite 1. We had to trek all of our stuff along side another camper’s truck and camp, up this walk way which was not even visible from our parking spot. We didn’t even use the fire ring the first night because we arrived pretty late and couldn’t see where it was. The whole layout is kind of strange and hard to figure out if you arrive in the dark. I would stay again but would definitely choose a different spot for our purposes.

Site 2 - Water Canyon Campground
April 5-7 spot 2. Look left coming down the road and you’ll see the water canyon campground sign and a gate. It’s a very well kept campground, The solar lights are beautiful and a nice ambiance. The area is mostly quiet, You can hear your neighbors but can’t really see them. my group was probably the noisiest talkers. Sorry.. a couple of nice trails around. Space is definitely limited for a vehicle.. just enough for 1. Single narrow road in and out. Reasonable distance from town. Clean porta potty. There is some shade and enough trees to put up a hammock.

Waking up every day to the view makes this place a 10/10 alone. Beyond that its well kept and an easy spot to get to. Take your time on the dirt road.

Camping with hubby and puggy
It was absolutely stunning and adorable. Loved the area so much! The area had cute paths that made it easy to get to the site. Hiking in the area was awesome. The grill and fire pit were nice, Loved the solar lights at night. Very spacious area and private. We will definitely book this site again. Thank you Savanna! 5 stars.
