Sheep Meadow Homestead

Glamping at it's finest

There are not enough complimentary words to describe my stay at Sheep Meadow Homestead. Nestled only 2 hours outside of Dallas, Sheep Meadow Homestead is the perfect glamping weekend getaway. Alejandro and his wife were the communicative, accommodating, and generous hosts. Their A-frame cabin is ideal for rest. The farm's fresh eggs in the morning and the opportunity to interact with the farm animals were a nice treat. My favorite feature was the side opening of the A-Frame, which allowed for a cool breeze and sitting out. The outhouse bathroom was only a short walk away, and the host provided plenty of cooking immensities if you needed to have your own. The fire pit, bike, and badminton allowed for fun downtime, and I can't wait to stay again.

Sheep Meadow Homestead

Super clean and fully stocked!

We had a great stay at Sheep Meadow Farm! I severely overpacked and brought my entire camping kit minus the tent. This stay you will truly be fine bringing nothing but your clothes, food, and firewood, a couple of headlamps. The location is easy to find, this is nestled at the back of the farm so it's private with picturesque views. The front wall opens like a garage door which is a pretty cool feature! Our hosts brought fresh farm eggs to us to have with our breakfast and that was such a generous and delicious surprise. I would definitely come back and will be recommending to people. They've already put a lot of work into this glamping site with more updates on the way.
