Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
West Texas desert land with wildlife and lots of open air. Just north of Big Bend National Park lots of hiking and sites to see. Trails on the property and a perimeter to walk to see wildlife. Land is located on Dagger Road and can be accessed from 2 different exits off of Hwy 118 Approximately 60 miles south of Alpine Tx. To enter the Ranchito exit off 118 onto Comanche Prairie rd make a left at the end then right on Detour then right on Dagger to the entrance, to enter from the main Terlingua ranch paved road turn right on Dagger rd and follow to Ranchito. Please do not camp around the existing rv no 1 spot on map and the surrounding area. Camp site no. 4 is a large cleared area set up for multiple campers, sites 2 & 3 are cleared areas for single tents. See picture of property map and camping sites that are numbered numerous other rustic places to camp also not marked. Dark skies area enjoy the stars. Property is not to far from Terlingua to enjoy great food and historic sites. Google maps will show Ranchito De Cielo Rey. Enjoy and be safe.Rustic tent sites up to recreational vehicles available on the property. upgrades to the property will continuously be made as time permits. Atv's and golf carts welcome as long as no damage to property is incurred from operators. Property is not far from Study Butte, Big Bend, and Terlingua. Come out and enjoy the desert climate.
